I've had the OLED Deluge for about a month now and can definitely say it's hands-down my favorite piece of music production gear. I control it with a Nektar Panorama P6 which has a ton of sliders and knobs. If only the Deluge had velocity and pressure sensitive buttons... I would have paid more for that gladly. Great jam, there!

That's cool what you did with the chords and bass. Putting the A under the first chord and B under the second chord made them suspended7 chords (A13sus and B9sus when you include the tensions). I'm a sucker for sus7 chords.
Also the jam is just killin in general.

Hey Boskhil, i have been watches some youtube video about the op-1 and the Deluge. And came across your channel. You have both and use them very well! I am looking for a portable fun music box. I am on the fence between the op-1 field and the Deluge. I would like to hear what you think of them. I am not looking for a DAW in a box type of thing. Just something to have fun with, jamming around. The OP-1 Field looks fun with the keyboard and amaing portability. The Deluge looks like it can do more, but is a lot pushing in the sequence (dah😊) and less jamming. Your thoughts?
Thank you for having my videos thijsschadevanwestrum1697! You're exactly right. op-1 is happy incident vending machine. But not only just fun, actually this sounds very professional. And finally op-1 'field' deal with STEREO sound. Oh, I'm so jealous of it.
On the other hand, Deluge is the only machine I'll take to a desert island. Maybe I won't be able to install new OS... but it's still great and bang for your buck!
Roughly judging by your comment, I think op-1 field might be better for you. Except a few new features, op-1 OG is also a great choice. How about saving a little money like that, and buying a Deluge later? Haha!

Thanks for your answer. I think I would like the piano style keyboard of the OP-1 F better compared to the button style of the Deluge, but I guess it whatever you learn (I don't play piano).. I am not a fan of the bleep-blob sounds the op-1 can produce. But like then more rich sounds of real instruments, so I probably will be using a lot of sample based synths and kits. How do the 2 devices compare if it comes to sample based music? And sound quality of those samples on the devices?
