American's First Time Reaction to "Z" by the Warning

- In this video I will be wrapping up the last song off of the album "Mayday" by the warning. I will be checking out the song "Z". First, I will watch the session performance in the studio. Then, I will watch a live performance at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. There might be a bonus on the end....

Their parents did such a phenomenal job of raising them. Toss aside the music part and theyre just wonderful wholesome classy young ladies. They dress cool with class. Mom and Dad take a bow 👏👏👏👏
One of things I really like about this song is the different combinations of voices: Dany and Pau, Dany and Ale, and of course the best, Ale backed by Pau. The song is about Generation Z, basically saying take off the blindfold! See the world through something other than social media. Don't drink the Tide (or the Kool-Aid either)! And I agree with you, Animosity is my favorite as well. I can just relate to it.
In 3/25 they realease new song, Money.

Z is my favorite of the ep. I love a funky bass line. Now it has Money to contend with, which is a banger of a song. They played it live for the first time while opening for the Foos last week.

I was at the show in Vegas. The phone recording does no justice to just how awesome it was. They kill it live and it’s super fun.

Ale’s bass is driving this whole song, Dany’s got some Grace Slick intensity in her vocals, and Pau’s drumming adds some faint flavors of Ringo Starr of the Beatles, all rolled up into some new blood.

Not tomorrow...it drops on Friday officially or it has already dropped for those of us who have heard it already and of course from the live performances that they played the song in.

Thanks, Touchy! I bet there'll be something to officially react to for Money not too long after it drops in 25 hours. They're performing in Monterrey right before, but the band hasn't let a song just slip by so far. They're always full of surprises.

Yes, these girls can rock. Ale sings in the live session, I think she's beginning to come out of her shyness shell, getting more comfortable singing. It doesn't matter, live or studio, that epic solo by Dany rocks. I can't forget Pau, the drum master, she rocks hard. 😆

A lot of folks either don't know or forget when you listen to QOTMS - it is a concept album, which makes it a must listen, when you do listen to it... remember the story. Dark and awesome all at once. Oh, and Pau trivia -- she wrote this as working title Gen Z but decided to drop the Gen. The lyrics say it already.

All the songs you named are from their EP Mayday (not an album), I’m pointing this out because this (Mayday EP) is part of their 3rd album. So there are more songs to come, in fact one is coming this week. They played it live not too long ago, I have the studio version of this new song called “Money” because I’m a kickstarter backer for their 3rd album. The kickstarter campaign for the 3rd album actually dates back to before they signed the record deal, so I’ve been waiting a long long time, but I’m sure I don’t need to tell you why it was held up for so long, beyond their control--but hey it’s coming and I’m excited.

"Z" is my favourite off the EP, just eclipsing "Evolve". "Disciple","Choke" then "Martirio" (actually prefer that song live) and lastly "Animosity" (It's a good song but way down my list of favorites from The Warning)

If you really want to hear Ale sing lead check out their performance of Hunter when the opened for Stryper just before the global lockdown January 2020. Dany was super sick and snotting everywhere so Pau and Ale stepped up and took over some of the songs for her. The Warning - Hunter / Ale singing lead th-cam.com/video/kdA9HatBPc8/w-d-xo.html
Before you see them in concert, you should also check out the album before Queen of the Murder Scene called 21st Century Blood. Even though it came first, many of the songs are superior in my humble opinion.
