New Spellbinders Dimensional Flower Dies Three Ways

- In this video check out some new spellbinders flower dies and three different ways to create with them. These new Spellbinders dies cut out the pieces you need to create realistic dimensional flowers. Today I am using the new flower dies to cut out white cardstock and then coloring them with either alcohol markers or Distress Oxide inks and cutting the dies out of color cardstock and then adding details with color pencils!

Right? When I look at dies I have a lot of trouble envisioning how they will look put together. So I was shocked when these came together so easily and made a real looking hibiscus!

Thank you for sharing your gorgeous cards with us Rebecca. I think the pink card was my favourite, but I loved them all. I don't really do layering stamps or dies as I am not good at layering, but those flowers looked relatively simple to put together. I will have to give them a try. I have just purchased a Glimmer hot foil system, so I am looking forward to it arriving and I will foil and layer at the same time. THank you again, I hope you are well. Stay safe and big hugs
I struggle with flowers period lol. But these were really fun to put together....only a couple of pieces!

The purple flower looks much better with the stamin stuck in between the two layers of petals! The centered layered one looks great, too!

Hello Rebecca, these dies are meant to be realistic. You mentioned flatting them so they can be mailed. Susan does mail these in plastic card boxes they the postal system. They are available then Clear Bags website. This way the flowers can be make looking like they are real. She also has a tool kit that is awesome to add shaping and dimension. Love your colors.
Yes, they can be super realistic looking! I don't have any of those plastic card boxes so I chose to go with a clean and simple version!
I have a gorgeous hibiscus bush I’m looking at right now. Maybe ours are different in Australia but this doesn’t quite look the same. I’ll have to do some research to find this type. The petals & leaves on ours are more round and are placed so the whole flower is round. They only have one stamen too. These look gorgeous too🇦🇺❤️

I just got that die a couple of weeks ago but much too busy making x-mas cards. I like that you used 3 different mediums for coloring. I might give them all a try along with watercolor. Those "middle" parts are the stamen and pistil (mostly the stamen)

Pretty flowers. I have a bunch of dimensional but they are too dimensional for cards. Theses are good. Easy card front.
I think these are meant to really dimensional too but I think they still work sort of flattened out.😅
