part is super simple to make on your own. I made 2 of them today. a 4inch and 3 inch. you can buy metal at home depot for $4 and it will make 2 brackets
They made a world of difference unfortunately I sold my kayak and don't recall what they specs where to build them anymore. I personally liked the 2.5 inch rise but im fairly small. They aren't hard to make with a drill and a bench vise. May want to give it a shot if you're into diy.
the person that was making them that I did the video for is no longer doing it. I know there are a couple people that have made them but don't think anyone is marketing them most at the moment. join the feelfree lure owners group on facebook and ask around. that would be your best chance of finding one.
Leonard Diprima I'm asking the builder of he still selling them. only way I know to contact him is through the feelfree lure owners group on Facebook. his name is Steve Brust.
(UPDATE) Yes, super easy to make. I bought some thin metal bars and measured around 15" total and cut. Bent up on a vise at 5" and 10" marks so it was close to a 5" base with 5" risers. I drilled a hole to fit the cross bar at 4" mark. That's all I have in it. Used existing hardware. the seat now sits just below my shoulders. Way better feel than just in your lower lumbar.
I just raised mine 4 inches! Super!
excellent idea ,,,,, the kayak does need that extra few inches on the seat , nice one buddy

Thank you!
Sean McNierney no problem
Do you know the dimensions of the bracket?
you could have a compartment in front of the seat
ok, Steve no longer makes them but I can if you're interested.
If you are still making them I'd want one
I would like one
The four inches would make a huge difference,ex specially for someone like me with a bad back...
