  • Episode 12 of my Refashioning Series! Today we're transforming a pair of oversized, baggy, shapeless, linen-y pants (these are rampant at every thrift store on earth, promise) into a cute, easy summer dress! The tie detail on the top makes this dress perfect for this summer - layered, on its own, or even as a beach coverup!
I'm happy with how this dress turned out and I hope it inspires YOU to try your own project this week. If you do, be sure to tag me in your pictures on social media!

Darling so darling. I love refashioning thrift clothes that I buy for a dollar from goodwill . I have alot of clothes to refashion as after my husband died thrifting was my therapy which was cheaper than the real thing. But I am just now getting back into my sewing room to start refashioning. Unfortunately I couldnt make that outfit because I have boobs. Always wanted them growing up and would of bought them if I had had the money but with age hahaha and some poundage hahah you do get what you always wanted but as I was told not what I always figured hahahah. Especially for a belly sleeper. Oh yah keep laughing as it is funny. Be careful what you wish for. But the dress is so darling and you did such a wonderful job.

Use pinking shears to tidy up some raw edges so it wont fray :D:D:D

I also love recycling and altering clothing but the raw materials of our fabrics are not good
