It's genuinely fascinating to me to see what sells for different resellers. I stopped picking up plus size because it does not sell, no matter what. Except for Eileen Fisher or Eskandar, and even then I won't go above a 1X. Sizes 0, 2, 4, I can sell all day every day. It occurred to me since I have a highly curated closet (I don't volume sell) my customer is very specific.
Ok, I’m gonna give away my secret 😢😅 as a Christmas gift to y’all! If you have Christmas items especially vintage ones, list them during and right after Christmas. This is when I sell most of my Christmas themed items. Not before Christmas. Maybe it’s just me, but it’s been pattern for years now.
@@jadajohnson5733 Maybe even try to relist them or add more key words etc. I’ve sold ornaments, mug and brooches today. I don’t have sweaters but I think people have better idea of what they want to have for Christmas next year after they celebrate this one. Or they break favorite mug, or loose grandmas brooch idk.. 🤣 but really sales spike right after.
Thank you Cayley for all you do with factor stacking and aesthetics! Really helping us with our descriptions. We are a husband and wife team here. Question, when you say Y2K are these items definitely from that period or are they Y2K style? Thanks again.
Hi Cayley! Thank you for consistently keeping the reseller community informed! I have a question for you- how many current active items do you have? I know at one point you said you were trying to flush out lower priced items and focus on higher selling items n
THX Cayley. That 'velvet burnout' - trying to understand it better. I notice it is popular but how does one KNOW? Clothing is never marked that way as far as I know, and I've found a few pieces that LOOKED like a maybe, not sure.
Hi Cayley! I love your videos. Super informative and entertaining. 🫶 I have a question I'd love for you to touch on either in here in a video or response: If there is no date on a tag on the item, what is the best way to tell if it is a vintage piece? Thanks!!
Over time you'll be able to identify a general sense of which era the item is from. I recommend until then studying tags on sites like the vintage fashion guild. Eventually you'll pick up on subtle similarities between tags from the same timeframes!

I was honestly about to pull my Christmas sweaters since Christmas is over - maybe I'll keep it up!

We went up to 8k this year but have it back down to around 7k. My goal is 5k.
