Chanderi Fort - Full of Thrill - Life Me Ek Baar Jarur Jana.

Perched at a height of 2300 feet above the ground, the Chanderi Fort in Badlapur is the perfect one-day getaway from Mumbai & Pune. The Chanderi Fort was built in the 1600s during the rule of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and it was used to keep a watch on the surrounding regions. Once you trek up to the top, you will see a bronze statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji and it lies right in the middle of the Matheran mountain range.
