As a nurse who has worked in more specialties than I can keep track of -- appendicitis is ALL OVER THE PLACE! So write ✍all of this down!! I'd say appendectomies got me called in the most often while working in surgical services, more than any other surgery! Cholecystectomy would probably be to follow! 😉 It's extremely important to ask patients with c/o abdominal pain, if they have any history of abdominal surgeries, to rule out lots of diagnoses right off the bat, including appys! Great video!
