Thanks, I do tend to forget about a good composition when seeing something I like to photograph and being busy with the manual mode. So, a good reminder to make a complete shot. Yes, it certainly is a learning process.

Thanks for sharing some of the earlier images that we can all learn from. Great to appreciate the journey we are all on and how far we may come over time as we grow in our skill and eye.

Will, your self assessment is hilarious and a bit harsh. 🤣 Yet another great video. Just discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago, and have already learned sooo much from you as I re-enter my photography hobby after 10+ years away from it. Going to pull the trigger on your Master Class this weekend. Can’t wait! I really appreciate how much you share through all of your fabulous TH-cam tutorials. All the best to you!

Thank you! This is very helpful. I appreciate how you could look at the limitations in some of your early photos. Takes some of the edge off of doing that with my own photos.

Absolutely spot on Will. All the gear in the world may make some difference with new cameras and lenses, but at the end of the day, you STILL have to learn the basics of photography with composition before anything else. Lighting too as well as how to actually use your camera in terms of aperture, ISO and shutter speed.

Thanks mate. Yeah exactly it’s what I call the ‘4 pillars’ of landscape photography - location, composition, light and processing.

Thanks for sharing Will. It was great to put these tips in to practice with you out in the field at our workshop earlier this month. Looking forward to continuing to improve my compositions!

P>s that waterfall at bottom of the pass well u should see the root system of the tree now that comes down on the water fall face. That tree on top is quite large now, have u shot the waterfall above it has massive footprints in the creek bed...

Another great video. Checking my marinade folder after watching this video made me feel quite pleased as some of them pass the composition hints you give. Still a long way to go, (as you know I struggle with composition) but these videos are a constant knowledge boost and for that I am very grateful. Thanks again Will

Are those images from your early stage are when you transition to live from as professional photographer as payedjob or just when you get into photography and was instage into landscape photography ?
