just mortar instead of being in the frontlines you help alot and its fun. you can also always do loggy runs
wazfu Logi* and Mortars are usually missing shot unless they have an accurate spotter and often only get TK’s
MrRyan6262 Not my Mortar Team! I communicate with command and heli pilots so I make sure where the HAB is located and I bombard it and I NEVER EVER fire at an area with friendlies. Well if there are 2-3 friendlies in the area I would still fire because its just 2-3.
@@MrRyan6262 mortars are missing shots because: a) the SL markers rangefinder (the one that shows range to the marker) have 50-100m deviation; b) the mortar degrees rangefinder table on the left of the mortar screen ALSO has that deviation, and they stack; c) Mortar rounds don't actually magically spawn in the air above the target, *they fly out of the tube*. That means you can kill yourself with the mortar (it has no arming range) and it ALSO means that how high and how low the mortar and the target are on the map actually affects where rounds land. d) mortar rounds themselves fly in a spread of 5m to 30m
This is why shooting mortars using in-game UI is wildly innacurate.
All but reason d can be alleviated using calculation tools, like SquadMC, leading to what appears like cheatingly precise mortars. To my knowledge SquadMC and other mortar calculation tools aren't actually banned on most servers, so you should use them if you want much more effective mortar action.
EDIT: do check in respective server rules if they actually forbid use of mortar calculators.

Karmakut & operatordrewski playing with doc is a rare thing when the notification about the livestream popped up on my phone while working.
This match pissed me off lastnig bro. I was on the opposite team. My teams mics were cold, the SL didnt run kit 3/4 of the match and half the team kept spawning two objectives behind you guys. And we were down to 39 people for a while. Was super rough. Also I tracked that Abrams in the beginning lol.
Those games happen a lot when influxes of noobs flood the servers. Things will be back to normal in a couple of weeks once the new people either stop playing or get better

Commercial District North is one of the coolest and hardest caps in Squad. I already had a few games with fights 60+ mins only for this cap. It's lovely. Although very open super hard to attack.

Getting artyed is fun but driving an indirect fire tank and shelling enemies across the map is really fun. You should try and get an indirect fire tank in squad.
Need to add passive wall mount stability increases, hate peaking a corner and having just as much weapon sway.

There's a lot you can do to improve WiFi, but a cable really is the best option... If it's an option.

Any recommendations from anybody for good servers or finding groups to play with? I am US West, and tired of aimless Squad games. I bought this game for the teamwork, after all.

JoinEasySquad is a good US based server - it’s Invasion only, but the squads tend to be very good and tactical while still having a good laugh.
