As people have been asking me to do Rosé's vocal range but I couldn't due to lack of material, I decided to do a video that compiles her high notes instead. Hope you guys enjoy it ^ ^ - เพลง

her belted notes at Masked Singer are so beautiful, she’s less nasal there and its so natural, she must sing like that more

She has a unique and sweet voice. I think she's not a belter and more comfortable when using falsetto that's why.
Mid belts are usually less nasal than upper belts... this is common.
I think Rosé it’s resting her real voice for her solo, because I think she have see all of the comments about her nasal voice. Poor Rosé, I will support you forever and forever 😢

Steamed Pork Buns well i do understand about vocal technique, and the masked singer performance was Rose at her best, what you’re talking about is her vibrato, she wasn’t pushing the notes too much like she does sometimes but her vibrato was slow and shaky and that by itself is unhealthy
Steamed Pork Buns usually people think that the nasality is the issue with her, but the thing is she sings with a lot of tension sometimes and forces her voice too much, her shaky vibrato is beautiful but technically it isn’t healthy

Rosé Bae most probably, she didn't improve. There's still a lot of tension in her voice, even as low as G4, so I cannot really see any fully supported and relaxed notes here.

Is it just me. Or is this one of the more unique yet beautiful voices. Sure, she may not be THE BEST, but you can hear how she sings and that she actually puts in effort and not just monotonously say words with different pitch.

@@vampire_queen3558 I don't think High notes are common in YG songs. Honestly just look at 2NE1, Bigbang, Ikon and Winner. Almost all of the members capable of high notes but they rarely ever do them in songs

Rosé can sing in any genre really well 😍 the real vocal queen 😍, she can actually sang in soft voice, in deep voice or in her powerful voice. Her voice is so powerful than you imagined it can be, try to watch when she sing "irreplaceable" which is a Beyoncé song and her performance in Fantastic Duo, you can see that her voice is not a joke, she is not showing it because she dont have a chance, she is really good in high notes, she can play her high notes well and it sounds angelic also, i just watch it in her performance in fantastic duo with gummy unni. Her voice has too much potential and it is world class. She can actually won the American Idol if ever she decide to join because her voice can be as powerful as avril lavigne and Beyoncé, as i hear her sing eyes closed, irreplaceable and officially missing you those are hard song to sing also the songs she is singing while playing piano i think its title is "falling all for you". So stop saying that she cant sing right because it simply because she dont have the chance to show her full potential as a singer thats the mystery of how beautiful rosé unni voice i just wish she can just have a vlog and sing many powerful songs lol 😅. Well she is a good rapper also. But because she is a human too, at some time her voice is not in good condition. Please stop saying that she is damaging her voice or what because any singer are using the thinning of their voice (its what you call nasal) you can normally do that without hurting your throat, she just do that at some song actually she usually do that in their blackpink song or group song, it depend on the song and the way the singer want to sing certain song or maybe thats what their vocal coach instruct her how to sing it because for the coach it sounds more good for that song. I just more like her voice if she is not thinning it because her deep voice is actually still unique and sounds a lot better. I think the song of Blackpink is adjusting to the singing skill of her groupmates thats why rosé unni cant show us more of her skill, as a group they should not compete with each other. Real talk: only rosé unni has high range in the BLACKPINK and can play high notes better , thats why rosé unni need to adjust always based on her groupmates singing skill she cant overpower because they are a group and not competing with each other. Thats the reason why BTS can show their high vocals more, as you can see BTS vocals are high and so good. Even though jisoo unni voice sounds so good also but her voice is not for playing high notes, she cant force it.
Rose should slap these high notes to those "self-deemed vocal experts" right on their faces

I think she has more support than Park Bom? Correct me if I’m wrong, Bom is good but I find Rosé voice got more support even she strain a lot, compared to Bom also has support but she has more strain notes, specially Rosé falsetto and head voice, sometimes it's airy but most of the time it has good support like PWF, WHISTLE, KOTMS solo and fantastic duo 2

She hasn't showed her full range yet so we can't be sure how many octaves she might have, but it's at least F3~G#5, which is 2 octaves, 1 note and a semitone ;)
Jisoo doesn't go too high in mixed voice, the highest mixed note I have heard from her is C5 and the range is F3~F#5, so we should wait for more material ;)
Rosé vocal range: C3~G#5(G6) (Probably able to go higher)

The G6 is a laugh so it doesn't count. The reason people put it in quotations is to say they have hit this note, not singing, so they might be able to do it singing.
Jisoo vocal range: E3~C6 (Most likely able to sing lower)

The C6 was a harmony during boombayah, search up a hidden harmonies video and you'll find it.

But i know that her voice is AMAZING
The number tells which octave she's singing in and the letter tells what note she's singing. The higher the octave doesn't always mean the more impressive it is though because we have different registers to help make certain notes easier to reach, including high ones (to try this out, try imitating an owl's hoot and you'll hear how easy it is to do despite it being high and then talk in your normal voice and hear it's easy to do despite being lower).
Just thought I'd clear that up cause sometimes people make that mistake when new to singing.

Is Rose a light lyrics soprano or lyric soprano? Her fourth octaves aren't that "belty" yet so she'not a mezzo. Her voice is so light so she coukd be a LLS but at the same time her voice doesn't stretch as much as the other LLS so she can be a lyric soprano too @_@
Jeed Wanna Touch Beyonce Light Lyric Soprano is a branch of Lyric Soprano. If she is a LLS then she is also a LS ;)
She sounds like a LLS to me, but we can’t be sure about her voice type without her being classically trained, so let’s say soprano to be safe ;)

People acting like their vocal coach’s watch there’s are ACTUAL vocal coach’s that say she does not strain her voice 🙄
Exactly. They say nasality isn't going to ruin your voice. Japanese singers encourage nasality because you can hit the high notes without straining as much. But the tone itself isn't appealing to people because it's overly bright. Bunch of vocal coaches are saying sure she could open more but tbat has nothing to do woth her nasality especially since they've pointed out that she can control it.
the vocal coach is either lying or scared to give criticism. Strain is normal everyone strains at a certain part of the voice except if ur Sohyang
