    If the over skirt was in the same lace material it would be much better. I agree with her Nan that it did take away the dramatic look of the back.

    the title is bizarre, the bride was the one rude to nan. Nan was right, the tulle cheapened the look. This is the first episode in Gok's series were someone is rude

    I agree with the nan though. The detached skirt is plain, covered up the details in the original skirt. The neckline area seems cheap. The 3rd dress's neckline is more elegant

      I felt like the bodice needed more structure since she's beautifully well endowed. I keep thinking that once the dress is ordered in her actual size that might take care of the problem.

    TBH Nan was absolutely right. The overskirt just wasn't doing that dress justice. But she's gorgeous. I feel she'll look great even in a potatoe sac. Ultimately it's her wedding her decision.

If she don't want others opinion then it would have been better if she had come alone. I totally agree that it's her day and her choice but her grandma was there because she asked her to come. So she did ask for her opinion and they were supportive. Even though she didn't like the dress. She just simply said she don't like it. I don't find her mean.

    Nan wasn’t “brutal”, she absolutely liked the dress and supported the choice, she just offered constructive criticism for the skirt-detail.
    She’s not insisting on her chosen dress, she’s praising the one the bride picked.

      I think she was being pretty annoying about it. It's fine to give feedback, but if the bride loves the dress then at that point you should shut up instead of continuing to push your opinion over and over.

      I think the bride was just a bit frustrated because the nan couldn't compromise. She did say nan would love the dress for half of the day so it probably means she won't wear the overskirt for the whole day, she just might want to change it up a little for the reception instead of spending more on a second dress. And with the overskirt too I think she was respecting her mom and nan's opinion on her having a princess dress but the dress itself is mermaid just as the bride wanted. She could have been nicer about it but I can tell it's built up frustration and both of them are too stubborn to yield, probably from bumping heads over the years

    Nan was right, her comment has so much sense but the bride already set her mind that her nan is annoying and brutal, thus was rude in the way she responded to her opinion. I liked nan, did not feel at ease with the bride's attitude.
    Anyway gorgeous choices allover and that plain skirt will hide a stunning back when it matters the most: walking down the aisle

      Right? I thought Nan was respectful, actually, in the way that she explained that she thought the bride and the main dress were beautiful, but she didn’t like how the plain overskirt detracted from the details that made the dress so lovely (which I agree with).
      I was horrified when the bride mentioned taking a sock or a gag to shut her Nan up; that was a disgusting overreaction and made the bride seem like a “nightmare” of a spoiled brat!!

      I think people are missing the point that it is the bride's dress not her grandmother's dress.       They rarely make makeup light enough for fair skin. The lightest shade is always too dark for me. On the rare occasion I find a foundation that is light enough, it's never meant for dry skin. I've only found one foundation my entire life that matched my pale skin and wasn't matte and they discontinued it after 10 years of using it. I hate how pale skin is left out in the cosmetic industry, as is really dark skin. I feel only medium skin tones are catered to.

    I agree with a ton of the comments that, in this specific case, it was the BRIDE being upsetting, rather than nana. She made a lot of sense, and the bride was acting a bit spoiled. There's a way to say what she wanted to say, without acting like a child. Nana wasn't condescending like most entourage people on these shows.

    Gotta agree with Nan. That detachable overskirt thing was distracting from the beauty of the dress. Maybe if it actually matched the dress with the same lace & beadwork, but it was just a big pile of plain tulle, and unneeded. The dress was stunning without it. But in the end, its the brides day, and if she wanted it, i’m glad she went with it.

    Second dress again: she was radiant and giddy
    Perfect choice!! As much as she loves her Nan, it's about how the dress makes her feel.
    I do agree with Nan about the overskirt though: if it was matching lace or had sparkle it wouldn't look cheap or "attached".

    Oh, Nan, bless your heart to put up with such a rude grandchild, hehe. Because to me...Nan wasn't brutal at all. She was honest and quite right. Not to mention that even the dress she picked was stunning as well. Nan's got serious taste. Though, I must say, if the tulle wasn't plain, how would the dress look on the whole? For eg, if the tulle had the same design as the back of the dress or something close to it then...that might be a game-changer.

    The bride is so spoiled...maybe too many people told her how "amazing" she was when she took part in all those pageants. Honestly, she is pretty but absolutely NOT THAT MUCH as she thinks to be. She is a pretty average-looking woman to be honest.

    Maybe it's a cultural thing, but I don't see what was so *brutal* about what Nan was saying. She gave her opinion in a calm way with reasons to back it up. It seems more like the bride was trying to inject drama where there was none.
