Apparently Kaley improvised the leg wrap around Sheldon in rehearsals and the producers liked it so much they kept it in for the shooting of the actual programme.

Penny and Sheldon had much more chemistry than they did with Leonard and Amy. Everybody says that they are like siblings. Even if it was like that, it would be extremely depressing to be married to a person that doesn't make you as happy as your "sibling" does.
Penny and Sheldon are both confident and comfortable in their skin and supportive of each other. Penny would never push Sheldon to physical intimacy unlike Amy. Sheldon would always encourage her and believe in her. I know that their relationship would work
And neither of them are interested in each other sexually or romantically so such relationship would not be possible but interesting take.

Penny may never push him for physical intimacy, but she would still miss it. She is the most sexually active person in the group and it's clearly important to her. That's enough reason why they work out better as friends/found family than in a romantic and sexual relationship.

Jim Parsons Says That Kissing Kaley Cuoco in The Big Bang Theory Was “Awkward to a Degree”
Unlike his friends, Sheldon Cooper was never much of a ladies’ man. Because of this, Jim Parsons didn’t have to kiss a lot of people during his twelve-year run on The Big Bang Theory. However, he did get to kiss two of his co-stars. The most shocking kiss came in season 9 when Sheldon and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) kiss in front of Leonard (Johnny Galecki).
Filming this scene was no easy feat because producers wanted Parsons and Cuoco to do it in only one take to truly surprise the live audience. So, they had to ensure their one and only kiss was perfect. Surprisingly, Parsons and Cuoco’s relationship behind the scenes made it easier for them to get it right.
"It was really fun-and, very honestly, really easy,” Parsons told. ”Very early on working on this show, I began working a lot with Kaley on a lot of different scenes because Penny and Sheldon had a lot of scenes together, and it was a very easy relationship to be a part of on-camera.”
So, when they were told they would have to kiss in front of the cameras, they just kept doing what they always did. “The first time we rehearsed [the kiss], it was literally just like an extension of the verbal dance we've been doing for eight and a half years,” the actor explained.
However, Parsons admitted that he felt awkward about kissing Cuoco.
“It's always awkward to a degree, but this was shockingly easy. We had so much fun. And it was so much fun to do it live in front of the audience. I kept thinking, 'When a moment like that is going on, they're going to know it's coming and start laughing before we do it.' You have one shot to do it right in front of an audience like that, and they didn't at all. It was dead silence, and the vibe in the room was, 'What is happening?!' It was exactly what it should have been and then BAM, we were making out!"
Despite the initial awkwardness, the two actors did such a great job that Sheldon and Penny’s kiss is still one of the fans’ favorite moments of the show.
Penny's leg made this even better. I also love Leonard's "WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" 🤣
I did always like Penny and Sheldon together. Especially in the early seasons. I think that the storylines they had together were always the most fun.
I don't know why they had to reveal that Leonard cheated on her before their wedding. It didn't add anything and kinda soured the episode.

That’s hilarious… and wrong. Sheldon LITERALLY turns Penny off; she thinks of him to suppress her libido. Also, 3/4 times, whatever he has to say to her, is an insensitive comment or an insult. Overall, no woman should’ve been written for Sheldon; he was a character that did NOT need a love interest.
Penny’s character was also ruined.
Sheldon would never do that. Personal hygiene is important for him.

Leonard: What are we gonna do?
Penny: I don't know.
Leonard: Please, tell me how I can fix it.
Sheldon: I'm glad you asked. As I see it, there's a simple solution. Your lips had a dalliance with the lips of another woman. It seems only logical that to restore balance to the relationship, you should find another man and dally with him. And by dally, I mean some hardcore mouth-on-mouth action.
Leonard: Okay, that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
Penny: Actually, I think he's onto something.
Leonard: What? Y-You can't be serious. 'Cause I messed up and made out with a girl, you're gonna do the same with a random guy?
Sheldon: I'm currently single.
Penny: That's true. You are.

This is how brain works behind the sleep sometimes. As a character leonard being stressed out, can have this as a loose dream being nothing to do with reality of how he trusts both of em. But brain thinks of mathmatical outcomes(even unrealistc) and often presents it in dreams and we often end up feeling guilty about those.
Sheldon and Penny... for a moment I thought I was watching a James Bond scene! 😂

Ironic since the actors that played Penny and Leonard were actually a couple. They absolutely had zero chemistry together. Leonard’s best chemistry as with Raj’s sister though.

As far as Priya is concerned, they had a good relationship until the writers suddenly sent her back to India. Though she was a bit controlling and the fans hated her, I liked them and think they should have lasted longer even if they did not become endgame.
Oh please its because you ship them. First of all it was acl dream that's why he is so confident and willing to kiss . Never could in rl. Secondly their ( Amy and his ) marriage kiss was wayy better .
Maybe you don't think that about the other kissing scenes because their relationship is supposed to be cute and wholesome and he despises any physical contact save Amy's so it would be pretty implausible for them to have a steamy kiss. Its like a person who sits and plays video games all year and then one day you ask him to run a marathon and he wins . Everything takes practice and Sheldon has absolutely none.
