  • How does a generator work? you will learn in this video.
We have shown you, two simple models of generators, one is single-phase and another is three-phase. this video teaches you the basics behind a real generator.
Experiments in this video are done in the Electrical Machines & Electromagnetics Elementary Laboratory of Tehran University with the supervision of Prof. Mohseni.

Can you connect multiple three phase generators in series and generate higher voltage

In your circuit it appears that the capacitor is in series( which would be correct as a filter) You however referred to it as being in parallel- is there a reason for that ?

It depends. you can consider them parrallel or series. for example if you consider induced voltage and series resistor as a single component which is coil, then the capacitor will be parrallel to the coil. Anyway say parallel or series no matter you can understand the concept.

If the earth magnetic field can induce emf in a coil...than can we say that the magnetic field of earth also induce emf in every moving coil on it...like coils in cars buses etc... And how these equipments handle this induced emf?

Yes the emf will induced in every coil but the amout of emf is dependant on the size of the loop you need an extremely large loops of wires to be able to use this emf which is not practical and efficient. If the coil is too small like you said coils in cars, it will be negligble.

Why we don't use earth magnetic field in our daily life generators?

The amout of magnetic field that we can grab from the earth is neglegible we need a very large loop of wires which is impossible and also inefficient
