I had several Windows Phones, fantastic phones for their time and when you consider that the HTC HD7 was basically an HTC HD2 and Windows Mobile was very slow on it, then that makes the optimisation of Windows Phone even more amazing. Windows Phone was also one of the first platforms to include native RCS support, I suspect that if it was still around Windows Phone 11 would have had the RCS Universal Profile included meaning that would have put pressure on Apple to adopt RCS. I also find it somewhat ironic that both Android AND iOS now use the flat, minimalist style of UI that Windows Phone had.
