I lived in Den Haag/ The Hague, for more than 13 years, and my job took me away a few times, ultimately that in 2006, I didn't return to The Netherlands, following my work in Houston, Texas, USA, much to my dismay. Even though I am English, I've always loved The Netherlands and the people. I am still in touch with my Dutch friends from the 70s, 80s and the 2000's and as much as I enjoy living in the USA, I can never, ever forget the friendships, the lifestyle, my church and everything else about the country. I pray to God that one day I can visit the The Netherlands, and enjoy the happiness and the people one last time.
As I approach my 70th birthday, this song still brings tears to my eyes. I am so thankful that this song holds true meanings to my faith in GOD and JESUS CHRIST.
