You forgot Victor Whitetail. I would love to see him return again as he was able to lead Amy into some deeper realms of herself and her gift with horses.

At the top of my list is Lauren Barwick. Paralysed as a result of a ranch accident, when a 75kg hay stack fell on her as she worked in the barn, Barwick has overcome her injury through determination to achieve great success. As a Canadian Equestrian Team member she won individual gold and silver medals at the 2008 Paralympic Games. Barwick appeared in Episode 416 - “Never Surrender. ”
A few other favorites, mainly from early years…
How about Marion Bartlett Fleming, played by Lisa Langlois? We catch only a glimpse of her in Episode 101 - "Coming Home. ” yet her role is central to all of Heartland. We only learn just how much she meant to Amy, Lou, Grandpa Jack, Tim, and others over the course of many seasons.
Greg Lawson plays Clint Riley, TyBorden’s Probation Officer. We meet Clint in Episode 102 - “After the Storm.” In that episode Ty gives Clint a respectful glance while driving past him, and Clint is very official in dealing with Grandpa Jack regarding Ty’s probation. Over time as Ty’s probation period expires Clint warms, so much so, that Clint is invited to Amy and Ty’s wedding in Episode 818 - “Written in Stone.”
“Beaver,” (to borrow one of Tim Fleming’s lines), that is “Badger,” played by Jack Knight, is another of Clint’s probationers. He’s hard not to like as Mallory Wells’ boyfriend in a number of episodes.
Often seen with her horse, Sugarfoot, pulling her cart, Mrs. (Sally) Bell, played by Anna Ferguson, is in numerous episodes. She becomes Ty’s honorary grandma and pays for his veterinary education.
Ty’s stepfather Wade Dalton, played by Ian Tracey, is a character that Ty always regards with suspicion. He has been in Travelers.
Similarly Chase Powers, played by Torrance Coombs, is a character whose intentions could never be trusted. He later appeared in Reign.
Lastly, a personal favorite, Donnelly Rhodes, who played Eli Stark, an old friend of Grandpa Jack, in Episode 506 - "The Slippery Slope”.

You can get season 13 and 14 on Amazon prime video. Up faith and family is on prime video and you can get a free 7 day trial. I did that and watched season 12 and 13.

Where are the new episodes? The last episode in season 13 leaves a lot of question marks. Did the show just run out of money? It like to much is left up in the air. Jack is definitely my favorite as he keeps everyone going. Amy is such a sweetheart and her ability to naturally connect with all horses draws you in quick. The writers should have told more of the story about her and her mother Marion though.

Recently discovered this wonderful show on the BYU channel here in southern California! We're several seasons (2014) behind the mainstream. So, some of these TH-cam videos show snippets and newer characters in upcoming episodes. Anyone else think Tim is a super selfish, mean spirited and complete jack-ass? He's always under mining poor Jack! You can see how Lou inherited his self-centeredness! In every good you gotta have your mainstay antagonists!
I absolutely agree with you. Tim is a self centered ass hole and Lou drives me crazy! She wants what she doesn't have and when she gets it she doesn't want it anymore definitely like her Father. Lou just wants her men around as play toys.

Lou intentionally sabotaged her relationship with Peter. Peter deserves better. Lou tends to do that with many relationships, family, friends and romantic.

Maybe those who are confused about the appeal of Lou and Peter need to revisit episodes where Peter led the family to find Ty and Scott, helped rescue Ty and Amy, got Georgie fireworks etc.? After all, it wasn't all bad even if Heartland tended to push the storyline to their divorce. Tim isn't all bad either but he may be more remembered for bad choices, breakups, etc.
@@PatrickLongworth Funny, because I have watched the show, too many times to count. I do not forget all Peter has done, or the fact that he chose to be away from the family. Personally , Lou is too self involved to be married … as far as Mitch is concerned , he used to stand up to Lou , but they have changed his personality. They all need to be single and grow up .

GRAHAM Truly Deserves A Lot of Recognition from Heartland-Phenomenal Talented Man/Humanitarian, Actor and oh So Much MORE!!! I liked Kit. When Caleb and Ty had money on the barrel racing horse and were looking for a rider, I was hoping they'd bring Kit back.
Kit Bailey is really not one of my favorites.. She's kinda annoying ngl.
