We have the 4 and its awesome. The only thing that is odd would be the location of the security connection (ability to lock to car rack). Having on the bottom and in a bit would be better. Looks goofy w a lock and cable at the end. Or, a more secure method of connecting to the rack would have been the best.
I just got a new one and it comes with locks. Can't wait to use it this weekend. Just got it mounted. We are going to try it at Shenandoah National Park!
This looks like a great product, but the price is a bit prohibitive. You could build one out of a length of 8" black PVC pipe. I'd also use a quick connect system so I you want to park in the shade you can take it off and move it into the sun.
I used in Moab when it was 106F outside. You just need to time when you take your shower correctly. Wait until after the sun sets and the talk cools to the desired temp. There is a thermometer decal on the outside of the tank that gives you an idea of what the tank temp is.
Did you settle on mounting parallel to rear window (like the end of the video) or along the side? I have the same bed rack and I’m not sure where to mount my new Roadshower yet. Thanks!
We tried it both ways. Mounted between the cab and the tent offered little exposure from sunlight and the water didn't really get warm enough. So we mounted it alongside and had better results. That being said, we switched to a tankless propane water heater and have piping hot water whenever we want now, soooo...... www.thegearbunker.com/joolca-hottap-season-review-is-it-worth-350/
Thanks for the review. Thanks for the response. Very helpful over deciding to use the WaterPort
Glad it was helpful!

Just got mine 2021 $990, worth every penny.
Glad you still like it!

Looks good . I have to say though that I think this tank will get overheating very easy in hot places like Southern California.

Liking for the sounders shirt even though I’m a galaxy fan 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks!
you can pressurize by filling with a hose at the hose valve. I did not hear you mention that
Correct, you can pressurize with a hose. But I found it performed better with air.
Idk why but you’re just simply awesome lol 😎
Well thanks!
Great video. Have you had any leaks from hose? Or other fittings?
No. But I teflon taped all my fittings.
Would be interesting to know how long it took to pressurise the tank
Totally depends on the air source. My 200psi shop compressor? About 10 seconds. A cheap 12v tire filler? About 2 minutes.
Bro you look like Sam from Burn notice lol awesome video !!
You think so?

can u heat the water without the sun?
Not really
Most important question:
Where did you get the shower head from?
It was an accessory from Road Shower at the time. The company has been purchased by Yakima Racks and am not sure if it's still available.
Hey how long does the pressure last? Can u shower 4 people without stopping
If I remember correctly, with 65psi, I got almost 10 min of run time. If you’re conservative, you could shower 4 people
@@thegearbunker9842 thanks, sounds cool...i bet u could even attach a long garden hose and transfer water 30 feet lol
Great review! RLTW!
Thanks!
What size is this?
The 7 gallon model
So, in a sunny environment, and a day driving you can't take a shower because you get burned ....
It never gets that hot
@@thegearbunker9842 ok, great to hear, and doesn't it slosh ?
