Japan has vending machines all over the country and there are many of them. We will visit a vending machine restaurant which is rare even in Japan.
This place was amazing! There is no staff to wait on you or to clean up after you. The machines are all very unique and the prices can't be beat.

But just you wait, the wave of wokeness is ready to completely annihilate that all around the world.
Plus those machines are heavily monitored

Your vending machine videos are a favorite for me. I've never seen anything like them in the states, and the fact that the food looks tasty, the place is clean, and the patrons don't abscond with everything that isn't tied down makes me very happy. As always, thank you for taking us along! ❤️❤️
I wish you can visit one of these vending machine companies and see how they create their foods "behind the scenes". It would be interesting!
I once made an automat diner in the sims 4 with mods and such that was heavily based upon this particular store, I just love how it looks. Some of my collected mods are actually of the same machines featured in this store and other popular vending machine spots that you guys and dancing bacons have visited
What a neat establishment. This is what Japan’s people are all about trust conscience respect
This can’t work in many countries.. that’s a shame
In rural areas, you can find vending machines in the middle of nowhere, still immaculate and working like they're factory fresh.
And even self serve vegetable and fruit shops, where you take what you need and pay what you can inside a wooden box.
Really wish we could have something like this in the US but there is no way it wouldn't be vandalized or robbed.

I literally was telling everyone at work yesterday about all the amazing vending machines in Japan. I said "anything you want they probably got a vending machine full of it." 😆

I don't know why but I love how the noodles come sliding out when they are done! It looks so cheerful!

I am absolutely fascinated by Japanese vending machines. I really want to visit Japan one day so I can try them out.
Australian vending machines are so boring most of the time! At least where I live in rural NSW.

Me: *_"You don't say!?"_* Also, Shinichi following up Satoshi by machine-gunning his 3 coins into the slot. XD
The final 10 seconds countdown on that machine is a nice touch (showing 1/10s seconds)!

Both the ramen and the udon looked spectacular. I love wakame and everything about both those dishes (including the shichimi togarashi -- I have some here at home!) really appealed to me.
@J. R. Caldoon: The scene with the coins made me laugh so hard 😂 I was like: „Ok, if this is „slow“ what would it look like if you would insert the coins at a normal speed?!“

That made me laugh too, I know what he means because even a normal drinks machine can be sketch if you put the coins in fast, reminds me of the old days in the arcade trying to spin coins in to get them to register. But then right after that Shinichi fires the coins in like he is taking a shot at the title.
Well those machines are from the 70's, but I get your point, and I looove the nixie tubes!

The first vending machine restaurant video was the first ever episode i saw of Tabi Eats :)
Natsukashi ne!! This vending machine video from years ago, was my first introduction to TabiEats. It was awesome then, and it's equally as awesome now! I still can't wrap my head around a burger from a vending machine. I'm so glad that they improved on the flavor. I remember the roadside stops, when we traveled to Japan many years ago. I love the gift shop(s)!! Thank you for sharing this road trip with us boys!!
Wow a couple of those machine had perfectly working nixie tube displays. Somebody is putting a lot of love into this place

Wasn't there an automatic in NYC. Not quite like this one. You could get fresh food and new food would be added to them machines. Not sure if it still exists.

yes agreed!!!! if you can find somewhere that sells "mexican coke" the taste is the same, they use real sugar instead of corn syrup and they still bottle it in glass, it is delicious!
@@virg0_lem0nade YES! I had a bottle of Mexican Coca Cola at Chipotle yesterday and it was sooo good! I normally don't drink cola because it usually comes in a can and I don't like the canned flavor. Also, the Mexican Coke is made with real sugar. I had such a flashback to my childhood!
I'm from Mexico and I can tell you, *the dream is over.*
They changed the formula a couple years ago, and now it's just as garbage as the bottled version.
Actually, both Coca Cola and Pepsi drastically changed the formulas for their sodas to the point where you can only taste the artificial additives.
Might as well drink mineral water. from now on.

You can still pick them up in glass bottles in most Metro Detroit grocery stores.
I'm always amazed at how there is always tongs and hot pads and condiments at Japan's vending areas. Sadly,here they would be stolen so fast. Would almost be laughable to see someone think if they put it there it would still be there in an hr! Japan has such kind and honest people. I'm a lil jealous tbh!

It was fascinating seeing you go back, I know I've watched the old one a few times! Eating things one at a time really seemed to work out better.
I'd go to Japan and miss out on everything else once I got started with the vending machines! And the food looks so healthy. I am also impressed with the neatness around the machines. Here, they'd be so messy that I wouldn't want anything in the machines.

The glas bottles never fully disapeared in my country. They added the zero one 4-5 years ago. Maybe longer.

Automats used to be very popular in NYC.The last one Horn and Hardart, closed in 1991 because people's eating habits changed.. Could get salad/soup, main course ie: roast beef - fried chicken- pasta etc, desert and a beverage for about $11. Not the best but good tasting and a lot of food.
@@geogent-flowerman553 I remember being a kid and I think they had one of the last ones in times square loved it I do remember I just love and then nostalgia of it and also it gives people more time to decide what they want and varieties I love these videos And this channel in particular because it also shows in Japan that they're all over Japan let's say your hungry and everything's closed you have an option to go to one of these machines just Great 🤗

The first video of you guys visiting this vending machine restaurant was how I first discovered your channel. So nice to see you eating there again!
The first video I ever saw of you guys, and when I subbed, was the original of this. Loved it then and love it now!
When you compare those burgers to come convenience store ones, I would take a shot at those over some things you can get in most convenience stores or bread section "burgers" in a Japanese supermarket which are usually gross. I think I would come away fairly happy with either of those, albeit 600 yen lighter! I could go for Satoshis one now...
It was a good idea to go back for a reshoot with a different tactic, everything tastes better warm especially this kind of fast food. If you leave fan favorite Mac hash browns or chicken nuggets to go cold, you will have a much different experience. Also being hungry helps too! Good job as always guys!
edit - By the way, I really think Satoshi is levelling up his game at describing certain aspects of the food!

I think I found the fictionalized version of this channel. It's a Japanese drama called What Did You Eat Yesterday? (Kinou nani tabeta?). I believe it's based on a manga.

I love the old Valve-based counters in the old vending machines, it gives them a more charming character. We have Coke Zero in the glass bottles here in the UK, also you can get Coca-Cola Signature Mixers that have their own cute little bottle design and 4 different flavors for mixing with spirits.

I'm always astounded by how Japan has such good ideas like a vending machine shop! That could never work in the UK! The place would be dirty and vandalized or full of crooks!

You’ll have to go try the machines they are getting ready to discontinue before they are all gone. The ones with the two hotdogs or takkoyaki or French fries or a chicken nugget and fries. I don’t know the name of the machine.

We really like to eat jalapeños here not just with burgers but burgers are popular with them. I recommend eating some soda crackers and jalapeños if you can find em with something like Potato Salad or Chicken Salad if you want that extra spice and vinegar taste to it, really good pairings!
Honesty is still the best policy 👌🏼 That’s why we love Japan so much. People are decent, respectful and very honest. 🥰 If you leave an unattended establishment here in the US, chances are it will get robbed or vandalized. 👎🏼
