Funny that you call the swan “mute”, considering all the noise it makes. We call it “knopsvane”, knop meaning knob (or bud) and referring to the shape of the forehead.

They probably used a tiny floating camera disguised as something that the swans wouldn't regard as a threat. Wildlife filming has come such a long way from the times they needed arc lamps to show the creatures at night ...
@@franl155 that would be incredibly discreet. My dumb self got chased by the swan around the zoo because I didn't know any better back then.
@@kieragard - well, they use minicams for filming other wildlife up close, disguised as various things, even piles of dung for filming elephants!
@@kieragard - We camped by a lake once that had a lot of swans; some kids fed them, and when they stopped, the swans came out for more. They're a hell of lot bigger on land than they look while swimming!
