Thank you for the mask! I made the medium for a very petite person. I placed the ends of the elastic pieces closer together, so not at the corners but maybe 1/2"-3/4" from the corners. The narrower spacing is closer to the actual size of the ears - if that makes sense - and it made the fabric at the ends near the ears lay flat and not lift off the sides of the face. No gaps. Perfect fit. So easy, so comfortable, and extra safe!! Excited to make this for my loved ones!
Thank you. This is my new favourite and I've whipped up a few this afternoon in different sizes for my family to try. As someone who wears glasses, no fog options are best for me. My other no-fog masks were sticking to my nose and mouth more, but this sits further away. For my bearded husband, I made an XL size rectangle of 42cm by 25cm (Width was fine, but needed more depth) and this seems to work well. Rather than elastic, I'm using the strips of tshirt (or old kid leggings) fabric and a pony bead to make them adjustable. Thank you for the diverse collection of masks tutorials that you have provided. These are all wonderful!
Wow thank you so so much Mia. This pattern is by far the best and your tutorial with 3 sizes is so helpful. In comparison to other masks tutorials, yours is so simple, fast, easy to follow/sew and fits perfect. I have round face, small nose and the Small size was perfect! Mu husband has a slim face but larger nose than me so the medium was perfect for him. Thank you for making life with masks easier!!! Please know that you have done a good deed and keep up the good work.
Got it at last I think, The first fold is half from way from 1st dot and second dot ( second being the centre dot ). Fold centre dot to meet back fold of first pleat, 3rd dot meets back of 2nd pleat. A fantastic mask, thanks Mia your an angel.
Thank you Mia. I plan on trying your pattern. I struggle with masks fogging up my glasses, it's so frustrating. The way your mask pattern fits the face makes a lot of sense.
Thank you so much for sharing this! I've been making the flat masks with the pleats on the side. I add a nose wire to those and thought they worked well, but this pattern doesn't need it and is so much better for eyeglass wearers. No fogging and they seem to offer more area in front to breath. I also find them easier to make. Thanks again and best to you! :-)
Thank you so much I have slightly adapted it and added a third layer. Also where you used pleats I did a dart to fit my face better. I love the different sizes as I was able to make some for myself my boy and my parents as well. Who love the fact their glasses don’t fog now
Thank You Ms. Mia sooooo much. I just made this mask in the medium and it fits perfectly. I love the fit and it's easy to make. I will be making more for the family. Thank You or the different size measurements in mask. God Bless and Stay Safe and Healthy.
Thank you Ms. Mia for sharing your thorough instructions on all of your design masks. I love it! Sharing is caring. May good health be with you always. 😊
Thanks for this mask pattern/design. So far it seems to stay under my husband's chin unlike every other mask I've tried for him. The only issue I have is I can't see very well how you're doing the darts at the chin but I think I figured it out ok.
Bravissima Mia io lavoro in ospedale e ho gli occhiali la trovo comodissima Great Mia i work in ospital and i wear glasses. This mask is very confortable ty
That's freaking awesome!! I can't see nothing but fog when I'm wearing mask . This WILL HELP OUT TREMINDOUSLY !!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Can't wait to try it out !!😇😇😇
I have been using anti fog spray for years, a small spray bottle lasts for a very long time. I have metal strips on my masks to shape them to my nose. Don't use pin on the fabric, use quilting clips or even paper clips.
Thank you!!! I love tutorials that show you step by step clearly, lovely soft music to listen to, and quick to the point! I am going to make these masks today to send to loved ones:) Thank you again!!!
Mia - can you show how to make this using casings for the elastics? Although, maybe this will make it too complicated. It is SO easy to make as is. I've been saying that "Make a mask suitable for using glasses (by Mia, May 11, 2020)" is the best mask on TH-cam BUT now, after making over 25 different styles, I think that this one may be my new favorite. It's more comfortable over the ears, there is room to breathe & it works well with glasses. The pleats at the chin (I make box pleats) are more forgiving than a dart at the chin. I'm using cord locks to make the elastics adjustable.
I'm excited to try this! Does anyone have suggestions for how I could make a casing for the elastic instead of sewing it in? I prefer head straps, but I also make these for my sister who prefers earloops, and my mom who doesn't care either way. It would be nice to make a bunch with the casings so each of us could choose our own loops/straps.
Mia of the Masks! Another awesome design. And 3 sizes included too! I watched with amazement, several times, as you made the 3 side by side chin area pleats so easily!!! Question: would you use the same mark measurements for fold over top, for elastic, and chin pleats for the S and L masks??? Thank you! You are so talented!
Thanks for such an easy tutorial. Also thank you VERY much for being one of the very few on TH-cam to show the finished mask on a real face.

Does the anti-fog design of this work? Wondering wether to make it or not! Thanks :)
@@FrancesLeone1 absolutely yes. I can wear my masks in -20c cold and still be without fogging while I am outside.
@@MandyzMoon ok, thanks!
@@FrancesLeone1 No mask is 100% fog proof but this one is definitely one of the best.
This is the very best design I have made so far. Definitely anti fog. Well done, it's a great design. Thanks for sharing it.

This is the best mask pattern! Thank you so much for sharing and helping us all to mask up! God bless!
Yours is one of the best & easiest I have tried. I made this for my parents who wear glasses and it came out great. Thank you for your tutorial
I appreciate your including the 3 sizes. I'm sure those who wear glasses will appreciate it
Thx
Super masker, het zit en draagt perfect, Hartelijk dank voor het laten zien hoe je het kunt maken.
Thank you Mia. I plan on trying your pattern. I struggle with masks fogging up my glasses, it's so frustrating. The way your mask pattern fits the face makes a lot of sense.
Thanks for sharing this design and thank you for modelling it at the end :-)
Thank you for this. My 88 year old mother is struggling with masks I make that fog glasses even with the Nose wire. So will try this.

I was thinking it would need a third layer too.
It’s a simple and very good mask! It helps to cover my nose without fog my glass. Thank you so much!
I always say this is the best, but this is great. I'm going to make them for all us glasses wearers.

This is by far my favorite mask pattern. Is this your original design? Just wondering because I've been calling these masks the "No Fog Mia mask"
I am drawing out this pattern and on the paper I have now named it "No Fog Mia Mask"
