For underglow, I just wired a switch on the positive bc I personally like that I can have it on while the bike is off. I use the "trunk space" in the grom every time I ride so it doesn't bother me to flip a switch. I'm no electrician but from my research, you have to find a fuse that receives power when the bike is switched on. Idk which fuse it is for the grom but you can test it with a multimeter. If I remember correctly, the brake light and other various parts turn on when the key is switched on so maybe look for a brake light fuse? If not, try splicing into a power wire that turns on when the key is on.
I tried connecting it to the fuses, and they all still drained my battery. I ended up tapping it to the license plate running light. It works perfect. Only turns on when the bike is on 🤙

With that 14t front did you notice reduction in top speed?
Yup, you'll lose top speed. About 3mph less. But I'd rather have more torque than top speed. Helps at stop lights.
