Lovely home. This aesthetic is the opposite of my minimal one which is one of the reasons I thoroughly enjoyed the tour... I am not capable of making any of these design choices hence really appreciated the eye that brought it together... loved the animals, plants and the cute doggy who curls up in every corner
The balcony is so beautifully done. Love the mix of plants and day beds but the only thing that i would nag about everyday is having to look at those slums everyday.

When she said .. " ... Things I have collected over a decade/ since MY first home" it brought a moment of realisation.. that how beautiful it is to collect things unique to You & ur memories.. It's hard to let go of the things belonging to our parents/grandparents/ancestors..since it reminds us of them.. but also how beautiful it is to have everything/most things unique to You.. There is also something called death-cleaning where u let go of your belongings to not make it hard for the future peeps

This is definitely one of the best home tours that I have seen . I was looking for inspiration and really couldn’t find anything . And this tour came up.
I also liked her philosophy and thinking behind the decorating and placement of the art and furniture . To have such a huge place in Mumbai is also a blessing. But keeping it so organized and yet lived in look , with plants, art, quirky objects, and everything is being used.
