Again a minor but important edit to my VHS opening suggestion to Star Trek V (October 1989 print) I now have edited out the Paramount feature presentation bumper instead of the music ending early than expected, the Paramount is pleased to bring you our feature presentation bumper appears with the Gulf western byline thus making it the final Paramount tape to use the Gulf western byline in coming attractions and feature presentation making it a unusual title to have “said” quote being said in a Paramount tape with previews My hypothetical Either June, or October 2024 VHS opening of Puppet master would later debut the Paramount Communications company byline in both versions
Great job. Keep up your amazing work. You know what I was thinking? This was inspired by how early copies of Pocahontas used the Walt Disney Classics logo, well what if we did the same thing with a 1997 VHS printing of Song of the South that's THX certified, released on the same day as Honey We Shrunk Ourselves on March 18, 1997? This would use 1. Green FBI Warnings 2. Walt Disney Company intro 3. Hercules trailer 4. George of the Jungle trailer 5. 101 Dalmatians trailer 5. Mighty Ducks: The Animated Movie trailer 6. Now on Videocassette Lilac Blue screen (Brian Cummings voiceover) 7. Toy Story trailer 8. James and the Giant Peach trailer 9. From Disney interactive bumper 10. Disney's Animated Storybook: 101 Dalmatians on CD rom 11. Lilac Blue Feature Presentation screen (Beau Weaver) 12. 1994 Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection logo (Walt Disney Classics logo from 1989 replaces it on earlier copies printed in December 1996 and January 1997, copies printed in February-onward use the Masterpiece Collection logo) 13. THX logo (Digitally Mastered) 14. Walt Disney Pictures logo Well NewAtor, what do you think of the list of previews I sent?
@@newator7240Okay, and yes, that film has become controversial. But I got another idea. How about a 1997 VHS version of Alice in Wonderland, THX certified with these exact previews from the Jungle Book VHS from 1997, except with the Special Preview bumper from 1992 from Beauty and the Beast and early copies using the 1989 Walt Disney Classics logo? And also, what do you think about the fanmade Masterpiece Collection logo with Sorcerer Mickey? That can be used on some later copies of 1995 VHS of Fantasia, after realizing that fans were disappointed that he wasn't in the Masterpiece Collection logo, and that can be made exclusively for Fantasia, while earlier copies use the standard logo without him.
@@newator7240 But anyway, how did you like the idea of another Masterpiece Collection release, using the 1989 Walt Disney Classics logo on early printings, the 1997 VHS of Alice in Wonderland? This would have 3 different versions of the opening. The first printing, with print dates from late July and early August 1997, has the 1989 Walt Disney Classics logo, and has the same previews as the first version of the 1997 VHS of the Jungle Book, the second version has the same previews, but corrects the tape master with the proper Masterpiece Collection logo, and the third version has the Little Mermaid trailer a little bit different, and replaces the Nightmare Ned on CD rom promo, with a preview for George of the Jungle. This will also add the Jungle Book preview on all 3 versions of the tape at the end right after the film. However, I'm going to remove the watermark at the bottom so that you can use it.
@@newator7240 I was thinking the cover would be like the Classics edition release, except there would be a banner reading Fully Restored Limited Edition, and there would be a red emblem shaped sign similar to the purple emblem from the Masterpiece Collection logo, and it would have orange text in the emblem reading Walt Disney's Masterpiece, then the title for Alice in Wonderland in yellow like the Classics edition release.
@@newator7240 I have excellent news. The Jungle Book trailer without watermark has been uploaded to internet archive for you to see. Anyway, what are your thoughts on it?
You don't suppose we could also do the 2001 Letterbox VHS of Toy Story 2? Here is the Opening: 1. Navy Blue FBI Warning Screens, 2. 1992 GOLD Walt Disney Home Video Logo, 3. Disney's California Adventure 2001 Commercial (seen on this video), 4. Now In Theaters, 5. Recess: School's Out Trailer, 6. Coming Soon To Theatres, 7. Atlantis: The Lost Empire Trailer, 8. The Emperor's New Groove Preview (seen on the 2001 VHS of Lady And The Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure), 12. The Book Of Pooh Preview, 13. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame II Preview, 14. Coming Soon To Theaters from Disney & PIXAR, 9. Monsters, Inc. Teaser Trailer (seen on the 2000 VHS of Toy Story 2), and 10. Custom 2001 Disney Enterprises, Inc. And the release date would be March 13th, 2001 - just 2 weeks after the 2001 VHS of Lady And The Tramp II: Scamp's Adeventure. Thank you.

"Song of the South" seems like a controversial move. I don't want to tell you what to do, but I wouldn't touch on that movie.
