Catching these wild fish is really a great experienced, I am amazed how these small spring of water has millions of wild guppies, some say these are mosquito fish and some named it million fish but these fish are invasive in Philippines and affecting the natural habitat of our local fishes but in other way they are also helping by eating mosquito larvae, if you are also amaze in this video please like and share and also don't forget to subscribe for more entertaining and useful information that can help us to become more successful in fish keeping

Wowww!! I remember doing this when i was a child! I grew up raising fishes. I had 3 aquariums because my parents enjoyed the hobby too. Above all, i love guppies, whether they are native or the nice ones sold in pet stores. Just like some of you, i really love to find guppies in bodies of water like sapa, canal, and small lakes. Thanks for sharing this video!

I have over 15 tanks from 150gals, 60gals, 55gals, 20gals, 10gals, and even 5gals. I never once said that they "couldn't feel pain" and "didn't have feelings"... All my fish live in native built tanks that resemble their native waters... they all have beautiful healthy growing plants that are native to their waters... they live in healthy communities/families that they created themselves. I enjoy my hobby and fish so much that I spend at least 2+ hours a day maintaining my tanks, and 8+ hours once every 2 weeks doing water changes on the tanks. My fish are happy and trust me enough to eat right from my hand. They're fed some of the top tier brands of fish food on the market. I even go out of my way to separate the pregnant live bearing like my Guppy's, Molly's, and Endler's, so that they don't get stressed out by the males that continuously chase them around the tank because they know she's getting ready to give birth... they do that because they will eat their own young once they're born... the mother's themselves even have to be separated from their young after they give birth because they'll eat their own young after birth. I take pride in my fish keeping, and like I said, all my fish are well taken care of and live a healthy life.
I understand there are a lot of unknowledgeable fish owners, and that's a shame when you see mistreated fish in disgusting small tanks... but 90% of the people that do what I do love their hobby of fish keeping, and take care of their fish very well... So please don't jump to conclusions and think that every fish keeper treats their fish like shit.

They are introduced here in the Philippines. Catching them daily will actually be a good thing because our native species won't have to compete very much with these introduced species. The reason of them being introduced here is because these fish are believed to eat mosquito larvae. They are seen as a natural way to prevent the spread of malaria and mosquito-borne diseases without the use of harmful pesticides.

May sapa sa likod ng school namin (grade school ako) madaming mga wild fish na binebenta sa mga pet store like guppies, gold fish, mollies, etc., pero ngayong wala na kasi ginawa na ng subdivision nakaka miss. Grade school palang ako nun ngayon nag 23 nako nag tratrabaho.
