They did not crash because of lack of common sense. They crashed because they are fallible human beings that make mistakes. To think it could not happen to you is hubris. I hope you are not a pilot. A pilot who thinks they don’t make mistakes is more terrifying than a pilot who has made mistakes and learned from them.
