I think I like what I call "Visual Asmr". When I listen to asmr, I HAVE to see what the person is doing, the movements, the hands etc, bcs it gives me more tingles than just hearing it. I love that China has an ancient culture of doing these massages. In my country we basically have no history of massages other than the generic back massage. Scalp massages are literally unheard of and if you ask for one you look like a weirdo (which is nuts to me because everyone likes it when someone plays with their hair or strokes their scalp casually).
