I'm totally with you on that feeling regarding gift knitting and it feeling like an obligation once they pick all the things. I think part of it for me is that if I don't commit to anything specifically, I can still frog it if I don't feel like knitting on a particular project anymore or if it isn't working out or whatever. BUT if I commit to a specific gift knit, then I'm stuck and I feel like I HAVE to do it. LOVING all the self-striping going on!! I know what you mean about shipping from Canada. Those Tiny Human Knits colorways are so so lovely!!! Thanks for sharing all the things!~Stephanie
That’s such a bummer about your lost sock! My mom did something similar once, she was knitting sweaters for my daughters, which was fine done in pieces and then seamed together at the end. She brought it during a visit (we live on opposite coasts) and lost one of the sleeves she had knitting on the plane! As always I love watching her arch of your podcasts. So glad you had a wonderful trip!
Hi Lindsey! I always write the details of my socks on an index card and keep it inside my sock bag. This is during the process of knitting the socks. Although most of my socks are always knit with the same numbers, etc., I do it in case the unknown happens. So sorry you lost your sock. It is sickening!
everyone is wearing their rock it tees and buying the kitting bag of tricks books lol I need to get on the bandwagon! Also yay! Thank you night owl fibers for the prize donation!
Oooooo. You’re right! Your tee is going to be a mix of amazing colors! I’m trying not to be jealous of your vacation!! Also, I’m thinking I need some stripy socks or even a striped cowl!🥰

That's awful!
what a bummer about losing an entire sock! I would totally be sad about that but go you for persevering!
It is a bummer but at least I didn't lose the yarn
Love all your wips and I am also loving all the self striping yarn lately. 💜
Self striping is always fun!

That is a smart idea. I am so sad about the sock, but good thing I love knitting them!
I do the same. Index cards are my knitting lifeline.
@@denisewessman1079 I don't have a project without one. I actually cut them in half because most projects do not need a whole card. 🙂
I definitely fill my whole index card with information. It’s my total lifeline.
So happy I got to see you at the knitting group last night. ❤ 😊
Glad you came out!
So glad you had a great vacation. You deserved every minute of the fun😊. So jealous you got to go to Skein Yarn Shop.
Thank you!
