For those that were wondering it goes a little deeper than yoga .. Through yoga or meditation practices the serpentine fire can be activated which is Kundalini Energy . Its a sacred form of divine energy that predates back to Ancient Egypt (kemet) . Its called serpentine fire because it can have a hot sensation when rising sometimes lol .
Only the GOAT of bands!! Check out the All N All album, including I'll Write a Song for You, Loves Holiday...both ballads. And, another funky one with Magic Mind. No other group that have conceptual music for all their albums.
"Serpentine Fire" is co-written by Maurice White, Reginald "Sonny" Burke, and Verdine White. My take on the title of the album All ‘N All is that it comes from I Corinthians 15:28 (KJV) “And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” May Maurice White and Reginald "Sonny" Burke rest in eternal peace.
Man, first time I heard/listened to this song in 35 years. I remember when this song came out. My sister had the album that she won from KJR. Great musical group.
Takes me back! Earth Wind and Fire's sound drove people to the dance floor. They nailed the disco sound (just sayin'). Love it!! Thank you for the reaction.
No problem! I like that people have asked me to react to them. I've never heard this song, and I love it! When I think of disco funk, EWF comes to my mind first!😁
Nothing wrong with nailing the disco sound... I sometimes saw myself as a rock purist, but I've learned better. This sound was absolutely legit (in spite of my delusions at that time) and I wish I'd dived deeper into it back then.
My favorite three songs from Earth Wind & Fire are in this order. 1) Fantasy 2) Lets Grove Tonight 3)reasons. Check all three of them out you will not be disappointed. They make great songs to roller skate to. But my all-time favorite song is Always and Forever by Heatwave. By the way I'm sitting here in Carencro Louisiana right now then I'm heading from here to Athens Illinois to pick up a trailer and take back to Goshen Indiana then I don't know if I'm going to do another run this week or go home.
You work so hard! Hope you get some down-time! I don't know if I've heard #1 or #3. I do like Let's Groove Tonight...and I can see roller skating to EWF! I'll check those 2 out...thank you, and take it easy!😁
@@DLynn You need to really listen to Fantasy. Do not even care if you do reaction. Just listen to it & tell me how you like it. Side not if you listen to it several times you will like it even more. Here it is th-cam.com/video/r58GQYFZeLE/w-d-xo.html
Let’s Groove Tonight has always been in my top 10, but enjoy this one and many others as well. The kind of music that just makes you feel good! Don’t you ever take down Trailer #2 D Lynn! That’s the kind of trailer that just makes you feel good! 😜✌️
I'm flattered! And kinda sad that I'm just now finding this. I was sure you'd like it though -- never knew about the whole yoga thing. To me it's just been a funky, upbeat tune.
Thank you for making me actually get to know more of their songs! I'm appreciating them more through these reactions...and I enjoy learning stuff about the bands/songs, then sharing it!
I'm willing to bet there's not a woman (straight or gay)alive that wouldn't APPRECIATE EW&F's Love's Holiday. Check it out. You'll see what I'm talking about.
Not to be funny, but to be black, your age, and have *NEVER* heard this song you *MUST* be from Minneapolis or some rural largely white town in the Midwest. Wow.......
@@wftyler9680 that's what I thought about the two young boys who never heard of In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins. Clearly, where someone lives, their upbringing, who they are surrounded by, and other factors influence who and what they listen to.
It talks about her energy and desire
The Greatest Band Of Them All 💘 💘
❤️❤️❤️❤️brings me back to my youth. It’s got the funk.
You just never hear a horn section in songs anymore. Just brings me back.
I love hearing horns (especially the sax!). You're right...it just makes for a fuller sound!🎷🎺🎶📯
There are some vids of EWF and Chicago performing live together... amazing!
Absolutely one of my favorite EWF's tracks, the bongos are everything ,thank you 💖
The bàss line is out of this world !!
Pure FUNK!!!!! You win... 😂
The movie Drumline featured Earth Wind and Fire songs. Nobody van touch em
I absolutely love the sound of the bass guitar being played in funk music and more bands should include a horn section! Peace!!☮
I definitely agree with you on that one! I wish more bands/artists would use them! Thank you!😁
PURE ENERGY of SAGITTARIAN - MAURICE..CIAO from ITALY...
The baddest band in the land!

Makes sense to me,

My all time favorite of theirs was Fantasy... but they had so many great songs! takes me back to high school ... WOW!

I have never heard this in my life....seems like I was missing greatness up til now!😁
I love Earth Wind & Fire! I always liked this song and funkadelic. Thanks Miss D. :)
Aw, thank you @Mosaic Rose! I love how well-rounded they are! I wish I would've gotten into them sooner!😁

You are liking this one, Ms. D! They were awesome to see & hear in a live performance too. It has been way too long since I heard this one.
I never heard this before, and yes! Totally loved it...it's rare for me to really like something first time hearing it!

Serpentine Fire is about sex per Ralph Johnson. Still a groove in 2020.
This is my favorite EW&F song by far
Another good one! One of my friends told me to check this reaction video out.

D. Lynn I like the sound ( and the thought) of that! 😍🥰😋
I'm the biggest EWF fan I've seen them plenty of times but beautiful you have to listen to Reasons from the Gratitude album.....its live and perfect
Thank you for the suggestion, and the compliment! I'll add it to my list...it will take me awhile to get to it though, just to warn ya!😁

Slow? You craze
Earth, Wind and Fire is the baddest band ever. They were into Kemetic/Egypt spiritualit...trying to wake our people up.
I grew up on EWF it was a must in my house growing up. You just got a little taste of EWF keep listing to some more.
Try their other song... "In the stone".. pretty sure you'll love them more.. 😃 just a suggestion..
