    Most of theses are for Teesside as well (north of North Yorkshire) even the Hull ones

    I think a ten foot and a snicket are the same thing?? I lived in Beverley and we all called it a snicket and then when I moved to hull it became a ten foot?? Why is everywhere so confusing!!!

    I'm from Newcastle and the 'bane' one is similar in Newcastle but we say 'bairn' and we say 'bray' too! Also learned a load of Yorkshire slang now haha x

    When I lived in Nottingham they called the 'snicket' a jitty haha going to university in Yorkshire opened up my mind to a whole new vocabulary..

    I find it so odd that children are called banes. It's as though it's an adaptation of what we call kids in Scotland - 'bairns'

    I knew a lot of these. A lot of my local slang I just assume is a real word until I try to write it and realise it doesn't work. Like instead of "treated" we say "tret" but that obviously isn't a word at all

    Omg I'm from hull (the big thing next to where Molly lives ) I had no idea what lug hole, back ended and cadged meant before this video and also i have a ten foot and it's called that because most of the time it's ten foot wide 😂😂😂😂
