Hah, jokes on you, I am already playing it! Also one of the absolute best building systems to have ever existed. The amount of what you can do is more than my small brain can even think of.
@@Andre_Oliveira77 don't worry, most people like building in the game and build really impressive things, but there are always a few who are not able to work creatively and think that building something has something to do with "defending".
This game has not let me go for a year, I have been inventing special conditions for myself there on high difficulties - to increase the health of enemies by 4 times, increase the number of enemies by 5 times (kill you with one attack), increase the number of enemies by 3 times - this is complete madness.
Have you been able to survive? At the beginning you're practically naked with a rusty sword. I can't image living through a wolf attack when the wolf has 4 times the health and three or more attacking you at once.
@@donmiller2908 That's how I play, and I've already passed the game several times - for an archer, for a warrior with a two-handed weapon (this is the easiest) and now (I'm only at level 15) in a new northern area, I'm passing for a magician. I've just put up an altar in the Obsidian Forge. It's much more interesting to play this way - it's a real challenge, and you have to think through every step. There is a real sense of immersion in a world where you can't just run somewhere. By the way, wolves are usually in packs of ten and they are surrounded from all sides) If there were 3-5 archers somewhere in the normal mode, then at the maximum enemy multiplier there will already be 10-15 of them, and any of their shots is fatal. ) I hate archers )
Now at 900h. Loved every second. Dont let you fool from bad reviews from "Played Time: 2h"-reviews from some people who decided for them selfes this game is bad. Its great. "German efficiency" = Keen Games. Those Devs are fast and deliver quality content at a realy fast paste
I haven't had the game an entire week yet, but have fallen in love with it. I realize that Enshrouded borrows a lot of mechanics from other survival games, but it does them better justice than its predecessors. I know that I've only scratched the surface of Enshrouded, but damn...I can't wait to see what comes next!
It would be nice to tame battle pets outside of them protecting you if you are attacked nearby because of Beast Master traits. At least I only have to fight the cats that have been tamed by the scavengers.
Great video on the game. The video shot here are well beyond the capability of my machine and are amazing. I started the game about a week ago and am highly dissapointed with the mage being so hard to play but I guess it is what it is.
I've played several survival games, and most were decent enough, but I always lost interest fairly quickly. Enshrouded has some great mechanics and I really love the difficulty system. You can set it to where combat and enemies are hard as hell or super easy so no matter what your preference is for the game, you can set it accordingly to play how *you* want. I really wish more games did this. That goes a long way to keeping you interested instead of frustrating you. 👍👍👍
The fluidity and polish of Enshrouded can’t be overstated. 300h no crashes, no fps losses. And the game is gorgeous. I would just rather not be a hobbit… 😂
I wish I was a better builder, but at least I still enjoy myself. Though I might have to move one of my fast travel points in the Nomad Highlands given how much of the mountains there is to explore. Hopefully they have plans to allow heating in bases made further up the mountain. Otherwise I'll have to take over the building where the enemies drop the bellows.
I would love them to start updating the combat visuals for all weapons types. It's all pretty basic from what I've seen with not much flare, even with the skill tree. The enemies are pretty cool, so i would love to take them down with style, lol
I recently started a new character and world. I kept my old ones. Did I "Need" to start a new world for the new stuff to show up? I figured I did but I wasn't sure.
Awesome video Thanks! I have some queations. Is the game more "solo" frendly in multiplayer than before? In The beginning one player could rush evrything and in lock evrything for all in multiplayer and the altars was limited by 6 or 8 and could only use ONE npc for the base. Is it possible to do all quest "alone solo" for each player in multiplayer now? Can each player have their OWN npc in their OWN base? Possible to have your OWN altars for each players? Like be able to choose if your altar will be a "public altar" people can teleport to and choose to have a private altar or something? Cheers.
Anyone getting weird bugs now after this update? I have torches not lighting up at the base, and game crashes now. Seems like these NPC's and weather system could be causing the crash... idk
I've been playing this game for awhile now. And I've noticed something, but I could be mistaken. The music, a violin, in this game sounds exactly like the music from RockStar's game Red Dead Redemption, or possibly Red Dead 2. Did Keen games take another Game Publishers music?
Only part i dont like about this update is when you build in the mountains it puts snowflakes on all your building blocks even if its covered. wish you could toggle it off or if your inside a base u could heat up your base.
so its fixed now? i can play and switch weapons without the game dropping fps or when i use the glider it drops or aim with a bow... tried uninstalling reinstalling different drives moved steam to the same drive, tried different graphics settings... it just drops fps to like 5fps when i switch weapons not fun. used to run fine before...
i didnt feel any survival thing in this game i wasnt really surviving it was just too easy also there is no reason to build a defensive base or build at all, your base is useless in term of shelter its just a spot to click on npcs and engage more buttons just like a mobile game
Biggest nitpick in the world bro - that shit will be added one way or another someday rather by mods or by the devs themselves; shit's still early access lmfao and it ain't even been a year.
Generic unreal engine RPG that uses voxels, Valheim does the same for 3GB with an ungodly amount of mods and dedicated servers, from MMO variants to survival & souls like.. None of the mechanics are unique or stand out from the competition unfortunately
Valheim, while innovative for its time, is clunky and ugly. I'm sure you can mod it into bearable or even good status but why would I buy a car I have to fix if I don't like fixing cars?
Why is it always about beeing the best? If it has great features, is fun to play and lets you enjoy a good time, why not see it as a nice game? Why does it have to be better than the competition? If people love Valheim and other exploration games, shouldn't it just be nice to have another game in this Genre that can be enjoyed? Things can be compared of course, but why come into the comments just to talk down on a game for it beeing generic and not better. But even if its on par with the others or maybe just slightly worse, its still a good time. And also your comparison is Valheim, which is already almost 5 Years old. Enshrouded is barely 1 Year old, in early access and for that, still a lot of fun to have. I also do not intend to offend you or anything, I just wish people would appreciate games a bit more for what they are and not only give them credit if they are the best of the best, a lot of teams put a lot of work into those games most would indeed be calling 'generic' Like I said, I do not wish to offend, just sharing my thoughts. Enjoy the rest of your day!
@@nunyabidness9765 perspective, you are renting a similar model, for that same reason your car is just a bycicle compared to Monster Hunter Wilds to name one example out of many.. The depth of having the freedom of choice is exactly what gives games replayability & keeps the player base active on the long term, which you will see is founded by numbers on the active player charts online, public for everyone to see as well

Never have I seen such a building system be both easy to grasp and extremely deep in what it allows you to do.
yet useless to use :D
there is no need in building anything
there are no raids no danger
just a place to click npcs for engagement
I'm have the greatest time building with ii, really in love

Enshrouded is really a game changer

I do think they have added that to be honest. For the tiny ones atleast. Im at work so I cant guide you rn. :)
