Love to see Kareem in the thumbnail, I just started watching “Winning Time” I believe it’s an HBO series and man, seeing the depiction of Gerald Buss and Magic and Kareem and learning about some of these other guys, I’m loving it.
A lot of players have issues with that project, you shouldn’t look at it as real a lot is exaggerated
just is you know its not realistic depictions at all and many parts even whole games and storylines are completely made up. its just a drama you legit can't learn about them wching that show.

There would for example be a pool of 8 teams with the 8 captains being the top 8 selected players in voting and the remaining players then being picked by captains. Coaches would be voted in by fans, with fans being given the option to vote for active and non active NBA coaches as well as former players such as Gil (Just imagine Gil coaching a team of all stars with $8 Hundred Million at stake!)
Eg,
Captains - LBJ, Steph, KD, Jokic, Embid, Giannis, Luka, Booker - would then all have the chance to choose teams based on a draft system consisting of 8 rounds with each team having 9 roster spots each.
8 teams are then placed into a playoff bracket (Basically like the conference semi finals) and then go on to play a best out of 3 series with the winner advancing.
Prize money could be determined by your final placing within the tournament, with the winning team receiving the most and the teams that were eliminated receive less according to the round in which they exited.
The tournament could take place on an annual basis within different countries such as Saudi Arabia (obviously), France (Paris), Italy (Milan), England (London) and would become an event which fans would be able to look forward to on an annual basis. The players would also have an opportunity to expand their brands as well as receiving a bag!
This tournament could easily take place over the span of a couple of weeks and with the money at stake and players would most definitely jump at that opportunity due to the amount of money at stake. This could basically be a player centric league whereby fans and players are the ultimate decision makers in determining who benefits from participating.
More importantly, real stars such as Russel Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Paul George, Demar Derozan would benefit from this as there are more roster spots as well as the absence of media voting.
