Heavy cav, It's just an officer that trades the useless spyglass for a better sword and pistol and a horse (a bad horse but still a horse), and pistols are handy on lots of cav maps, like that one which is a town with poland and austria
Also I think Heavy Cav is good on maps like Cristobal and Falenty where officer combat is viable. They are especially viable if you stick in buildings or go into the basement on Cristobal which I love. Most Cav maps aren't officer viable but on the ones that are you might as well take Heavy Cav over Officer, especially if you are goin solo.
Got to love that fact that 5 years ago Hussar dominated all the cav while the dragoon was considered trash(Mostly due to tanking being used), Sappers were the scariest or most annoying thing to encounter when clearing a house(The legacy of soup must and will live on!), Rifles were at their peak during this time, before they got nerfed with temu sword(Explains why maps like marshland were voted most during that time), The Bayonet used to suck so badly and everyone preferred to use the sword, Playing officer somehow gave everyone the ability to shot orders for no reason, Light inf was rare to see but fairly powerful, and music people did what they did best at that time.....run around in circles and hope they don't die. Oh the memories!
@@LOLSKU115 oh yea, the slow moving practice targets to train your aim...Good times back then, when we actually got something that will keep moving in a straight line and didn't bend the fabric of time when they were trying to doge you(Unlike the hussars).
People keep forgetting the Musketoon is a gun to stand still with, you still have enough accuracy to use in both long range and cqb, it’s shorter barrel length also means close up shots will hit them rather than the barrel be through them, and getting a musketoon as a partisan lets you scare anybody with fear of it being a rifle. Yeah the musketoons damage fall off does dip after a certain point but it can still kill with shots further that a pistol
You should differentiate between Militia classes which have slightly different gameplay mechanics. Like Skirmish Rifle vs Militia Rifle or Line Infantry vs Militia Line Infantry. I feel like the differences are distinct enough to highlight. Also maybe include significant officer variants like the Artillery Officer and certain Cav Officers. Awesome vid!

For some reason I like using the pike, and it is oddly fun for me. I will admit the class is pretty bad though since the pike is basically for shishkabobbing horses and only horses.
each class is a gamble, because they're can really good if they know to use the class but horrible if they don't. (except for pikeman there is NO saving that)
Pikemen can be good if you’re fighting a lot of cav and using it to defend a large amount of men. But usally line infantry is a better choice for field anti cav infantry as it has a gun.

Artillery is biggest gamble as you ether die in the first minute or survive to the end of the game,
I like trolling cavalry with pike and swapping right before they hit(or even if they do hit) and kill their horse
