It would be great if you mixed both systems together. Dual pouch with Velcro for inserts from mk4, for us mill guys that need to run 6 mags or multi caliber. And mix that with the design of mk5 Laminate with holes, front MOLLE, side holes and single MOLLE on the side.
I love that you explain a products purpose and versatility. Finally a company that gets it. There are times I'm looking at products and cannot find a good use for it so I look online to look for a company's explanation. 99% of the time, there isn't a good explanation for the creation and intended purpose. Appreciate product revisions and implementing R&D insights but couldn’t people just buy a mag placard if that’s all they wanted on their chest rig for the sake of streamlining? Looks well made as always though.
I am very much liking this, the molle on the sides is genius for adding scalability. Have you guys thought about adding the same to the bottom as a value added storage option? One of my main critiques with the MK4 has been the difficulty reindexing the mag closest to the shooters strong side, especially when using Pmags. By making the pouch a little bit wider I think you might be able to rectify this issue relatively easily. Otherwise I am keen to see what optional extras you and other manufacturers put out for this chassis over the coming months.
@@jaydubs6354 Its a fucking kangaroo flap. not rocket science. i agree it looks copied but the Crye JPC from 2012 had the Sameish design and numerous other companies did their take on it. the jpc kangaroo front flap + an eagle 6 wide horizontal gp was a Spiritus/haley before they existed.

I use the mark V and the CCS pouch for hunting and it is the absolute best chest rig I have ever used. I love that all it takes is a quick insert Change and it’s a fighting rig too. The ones I used in the army never held up or performed as well. I love what y’all put out thank you.
I use my MK3 as my main work rig for my outdoor and hunting programs. Depending on the program I might be stuffing comms, med, nav, tablets, remotes, mags, notebooks, batteries, tools, ect... into it. Flexibility is critical because of the great deal of equipment needs between different programs. The scalability and modularity of the current microflights is wonderful in that application. With a little bit of creativity you can make your own inserts and unlike a lot of outdoor focused chest rigs it easily accommodates oversized items. The MK5 looks like it will deliver even more of that needed flexibility. I particularly like how you have extended options to scale way down or way up. That's the kind of feature set that really benefits my kind of use. The holes on the top and sides is just another example of the brilliant attention to detail Spiritus incorporates into their designs. Makes it quick and easy to dummy cord down everything from duck calls to e-collar remotes and compasses. I look forward to learning more about the laminate. I've generally avoided MOLLE chest rigs because I don't like saggy pouches and the extra bulk but the video makes it look like pouches lock up nice and tight which is incredibly appealing.
It was love at first sight with the Mk V! Now just when I think Ive ordered everything i could possibly need from Spiritus, i find something else that i could use! I just need one of every item they make!
@@beatty169 that’s true if you are talking about the mk IV. There are photos that demonstrate poor fit. The MkV is wider in dimension and will fit the Haley triple mag inserts with the triple mag Velcro. And, I’ve personally put the inserts in the mkV myself and am happy with the setup.
Man I’ve tried most of the known placards on the market for my work PC and I just haven’t loved any of them. This seems like it’s going to fill a lot gaps that those leave. The ability to have a slim chassis if you want but also attach any type of pouch if you want. Can’t wait!
UK competition shooter here. The MK4 is still great because I need to carry 6+ mags so I get 6 AR mags on the MFv4 straight away. This MK6 wont be great for me, and others who shoot UK comps. HTH!!!
hey I know it is all about making money, but can Spiritus Systems design a budget rig for us poors maybe allot closer to the $20. range. I am not being cheap, it is just that $20 is allot of money to those of us that don't have $20. to spare. and I cannot think of a better company to build a good rig for those of us that cannot afford the nicer gear that most shooting enthusiast can but need something we can use at the same time that is not a knockoff from foreign company or made for paintball
hey bud if you still need a cheaper, USA made alternative to this, take the USGI triple mag shingle (about $10 ea) and add shock cord thru the first vertical stitch on the molle front and backside. that should hold you over until youve saved enough for some Spiritus kit. Afterwards old shingles will still be useful for keeping mags in your truck, around the house or go bag.
Very cool and slick design. It would be very nice to have some different inserts. The strap things dont work very well when you reindexing the mag. When there are some different frontpoches available that fits my needs a bit more, i will defenetly by a MKV! Keep up the great work!:)
I really wish Spiritus would just offer kydex inserts for their placards, I've seen and hesrd about people using the kydex from esstac pouches but it just creates more work.
@@nunyabusiness4904 really not hard at all just buy kywis and use velcro one wrap to attach them together. If you get the tall kywi wedges with velcro on the outside they drop right in. The velcro one wrap maintains the shape. Took me 5 minutes to assemble
Not really. They would be too smashed there to really be effective. One of the rifle magazines would be slightly overlapping one of the pistol mags. Wouldn't recommend it.

Bought the Haley insert for my micro fight mk4 searching for the same thing and it doesn’t fit 👎 it was really close but couldn’t make it work
8492 nylonworks makes an adapter so you can use the esstac mid height inserts in your rig

I think you might be surprised by the strength in ours, with super high quality laminate, and reinforced materials. BUT this style isnt for everyone
