Have a few saws in this series I witches to a husqvarna coil just to make it more reliable, your vi130 has the squared off front handle, prefer that style but seems to be less common on the xl-76, sxl-130 and vi130
@@NothingButChainsaws Rewind the spring. It should have about 7 turns. There is a little notch in the aluminum part that holds the rope so that you can pull slack in the rope enough to rewind the spring. It takes 5 seconds. Usually what happens is the rope breaks and they don't rewind the spring enough turns and it creates slack in the rope.
