This machine will crack your nuts! - Mechanical nut cracker.

- In this video I make this mechanical nut cracker that cracks the nut when you push the large lever down. When pushing the lever down the plunger gets lifted up, once its fully lifted the plunger automatically releases and smashes down on the nut. I used some nice oak and a piece of aluminum round stock to make this nutcracker.

Cool design, the release mechanism looks like some kind of stationery cam. When I first saw the thumbnail I thought were making a Guillotine for cutting brick.
The release mech definitely was the hardest part to get right for this one
