@@steveduzstuff you might have to choose your lines in a couple spots but you should be fine. If there has been recent rain it can difficult as well. Enjoy the views and stay safe.
@@steveduzstuff If it is a 2019 or newer. Older than that, the ground clearance was 2" lower than now, which is about 8.6 inches. I did the trail in the last week of Sept. of 2023 and was in a Jeep. Never had to use 4WD. Like @adventureoverland1960 said, "If there has been recent rain it [might be] difficult ." Loved the drive...beautiful!
Thanks for the video! I did this drive (other direction) in the last week of Sept. last year. We did it in a rental Jeep, as I didn't want to risk damaging the undercarriage of my Toyota Avalon. Did a nice lunch in Telluride and then went up to Owl Creek pass (I did that several years ago in my car...creeping a lot of the way) see Deb's meadow and the beautiful view of the Cimmeron's at the top.
Well done! Will do this trip after watch this video.
@@Metal1412 this is a great trail to explore especially in the fall. Thanks for watching
Thank you for this video. Makes me miss CO even more. I found this state as therapy to my solo soul.
Thanks for watching. This area has so much epic scenery it’s hard to decide which way to explore. Can’t wait to get back there.
Would you take a 2wd rental Toyota rav 4 on this road? Thx.
