Thank you for adressing the cleaning part. A lot of of these weird channels don't even talk about it and it's a huge deal about the complexity of cleaning it.
I have 2 of of the 150 humidifiers in my room and they do the job and are so easy to clean..I don't need all the fancy gadgets, just need clean air...lol
For those who have the 300s, don't put the mineral absorption pad right under the float bracket or else the trigger that brings down the water won't come out and you'll constantly get notifications that the tank is not full.
I have settled upon the LV600S after reading and watching several review articles and videos. I appreciate this comparison as I had thoughts about the different LEVOIT systems going head-to-head. The pads for cleaning is new to me. In all the analysis I went through, nobody mentioned those! Must acquire!!
Would the Aqua Sticks do the same thing? I just ordered those along with my 150. Sure is hard to choose a humidifier with so many options, but after watching this, I feel I made the right choice! TY for the info.
Hi yes the aqua sticks work similarly and slows down how often you have to clean. If your water is hard, be ready to clean regularly but it’s worth it.
Where exactly do you recommend placing the mineral Absorption pad on the 300S that part of the video the image of where isn't shown. I've been putting it under the float but I'm unsure how that effects the unit
It's a pad that goes into the base similar to a tiny pad filter. I have used it for years and never noticed any negative effect, I assume levoit recommends it for warm mist similar to how minerals build up in a water heater but for cool mist, the pad gets dirty in my tanks because I have harder water. It's not a required accessory so it's up to you if it's worth it.

Hi! Thank you for the kind words! I need a humidifier 365 days a year for my allergies and dry skin so easy cleaning is so important for clean air.

Out of the 300s and the 600s, which one has more total output? Which has more cool mist output? Thanks!
wondering the same :(

Please link to those pads..
Very helpful video. Love it!

You can cut it in half, and put it on sides of under filter where water enters from tank
I love my classic 4l Taotronics humidifiers!!!!!!
I still have 1 too! Harder to keep clean though compared to the levoit.
Is the absorption pad really safe to use in the 300 model? I noticed on Amazon it's recommended only for the 600s.

LV600S is 240 watt, 300S is 26 watt, the LV600S use 240 watt also with cold steam or only with hot steam air?
The descaling pad is not suitable for daul 150, I just try , no water mist comes out. You have to take it out to get water mist
Hi! Where did you place yours? I have been using the pad since I got the machine.
