The heavy rain that has fallen on the city of Bandung and its surroundings since Friday (24/1/2025) has flooded several areas. This condition caused the Citepus River to overflow, causing residents in RW 08, Jalan Arjuna, Arjuna Village, Cicendo District, to be affected by flooding.
Chairman of Karang Taruna RW 08, Yusuf Kahfi, said that there were 78 people from nine heads of families (KK) in three RTs who were affected. Some residents' houses were also damaged as a result of this incident.
"Meanwhile, there are four damaged houses spread across RT 01.02 and 03 RW 08," said Kahfi, when met on Jalan Arjuna, Bandung City, Saturday (25/1/2025).
The flood that hit the Arjuna Village area occurred before dawn. In fact, he said, its height reached three meters. The affected residents temporarily evacuated to the homes of their neighbors and relatives.
"For the time being the affected victim was evacuated to a safe neighboring house and relatives," he said.
