As far as I know, it has never been finished. I also know it suffered from fire in the 19th century and underwent a restoration that lasted to the 20th century also. There should have been a dome part next to the modern building. I also wonder if it was ever intended to finalize the entire monument.
The Cordial chain was quite nice, but typically all hotels in Vegueta are, just make sure the windows are facing the street instead of the patio and no roads are nearby

What happened to the building to the left of Cathedral Santa Ana that seems to have collapsed? And when did this happen?
