I want to thank you Isaac for the encouragement to lose weight, I've lost 27 kgs now & I'm so much healthier now. I'm disabled with chronic pain from nerve damage & Lupus-Like-Arthritis, so I'd kind of chucked in the towel & allowed myself to get overweight which made my pain & inflammation worse & made me depressed too. So again, thank you for the encouragement to give a f@ck about myself & do something about it.
A girl at the local school where I live has started saying she is a cat. Her dad told her if thats so then you can start eating cat food out of the cats bowl. Took away her phone because cats dont need or use them. Said he would set up a nice comfy bed for her outside because he did not want an inside cat. BIG shocker, she decided she was a girl after all. I was rolling when I heard about this one. Thank god my kids dont watch TikTok.
He ought to be arrested. He will end up raising a decent person with accountability and an understanding of logic----she will stand out too much from the current generation and will get bullied. Way to go Dad!!!
Had an interesting conversation last night with my lesbian roommate and her trans friend.... They said there is no such thing as a LGBTQA+ "community"... all of these have different problems and some even work against each other. There are people that want to be part of a group it seems and then there are a lot of people that dont want to be part of that group. They both said they dont want to be put into something just because they are queer. In fact they said it is worse being queer now then it was 10 years ago when you could just do your own thing. Now you get associated with idiots and people hate you for that. Before you just had some idiots that hated you or didnt like your lifestyle. Now you have to fight against people in the LGBTQA+ "community" if you dont agree with everything, against the same idiots you had to fight before and against a majority of people that associate you with idiots. Especially for trans people it seems the situation got worse according to the friend. They are both over 50 years old and I think their opinion is valid since they lived through a lot of changes in society over the years being queer. Quote "I wont let a 20 something tell me what kind of problems they face when I was queer in the 80s and I wont be lectured by them on how and when to feel offended. I just dont want them to speak on my behalf since Iam an individual and I have always been."
I as a bisexual man i do not wanna be associated with the so called LGBTQIA+ "community". I love men I love women and I love trans women. I also love Dave Chappel XD. No but fr I don't feel good in this so called "community".

I always wondered that. Why would anyone identify with these "massive" groups. They don't own the exclusivity to anything. The expression will typically be used by a woman as a catch all for general, petty annoyances about men often when experiencing one such instance. Do you think men don't do the same in regard to women when similarly annoyed? Probably not to their faces, but it will happen if only as an internal monologue. When people are expressing hatred for the extreme, such as rape, they are generally more specific.

I was at a party and my co-worker was sitting next to me. I tapped her on the leg with the back of my hand to get her attention over the loud music and she fiercely snapped ''DON'T TOUCH ME''. one time i went researching a bit on the neopronoun thing because i got into an argument with a kid who called themselves catgender, and it looks like it was just all invented by some random group of tumblr kids. Literally. one of funny things about neopronouns is that the point of them is to describe a gender that can't be described. Like "I don't know what my gender is, but it feels like cats" so they call themselves catgender. I asked this person to describe it to me and they couldn't give more than just "i feel happy around cats". and these people will do this stuff with literally everything. I find the insistence on using the correct pronounce very similar to the demands by *the aristocracy of the Middle Ages* to be addressed by *_the right noble title_* . The penalty for not doing so could be quite severe, and this what the “alphabet people” is demanding should happen if a person is not addressing them with the “correct pronounce”, (cf. with the “correct title”). But it is the same old demand from group that think it should have special privileges and that the world should revolve around their wants and needs. The narcissism of these people are staggering.

As someone that was fat and lost over 60 lbs, I find it highly offensive when people say it’s “not a choice.” It is. It’s hard to lose the weight but it is very much possible for 99% of people. Sadly I got a back injury and gained weight but I’ve recently recovered and started to lose it again. It’s possible to lose it. It’s difficult but it’s a choice you can make

I feel like those of us with disabilities aren't treated with the same level of understanding and support but apparently we're not as important as how people identify. I actually got called racist and transphobic by a discord moderator when I voiced my feelings. My wording wasn't perfect but still not discriminatory it was a comparison and feelings from personal observation and experience.
Those people expect you to agree with every word they say otherwise they'll claim you're some sort of ist or phobe just for having your own opinion and daring to think for yourself. Don't let what others think of you bother you, the only opinion of you that really matters is the one you have of yourself. As long as you're fine with yourself as you are then others can take what they think you and have themselves a long walk off a short pier.
Yeah don't worry have the same issue as someone with a disability. I just tell them to fck off and ask them do you get pushed away from jobs the instant they find out they have to cater to my condition? Do you have to relay on the help of others to get just normal shit you take for granted done? I think that your videos and your stance is a logical happy medium bridge between thinking. with that being said, there ARE some medical conditions that cause people to gain weight, and it is out their control. While being obese is generally the person's fault, being over weight can be a medical symptom. I only say this because I think that a lot of people could benefit from your point of view and you being educated is one of the things that I really like about you! Of course, people DO need to take responsibility for themselves and try to be healthy and there is no excuse for not trying. 😊

I work for an extremely reputable company making over 100k, with an additional military retirement under me. I have a lot of very attractive women who want to get with me but I'm married with an amazingly fun 1 year old. I would absolutely qualify myself as a high-valued man, but only so long as I don't leave or cheat on my wife. Get what I mean? No high value woman wants a man that does those things, but they want you BEFORE you do those things. It's an mfing catch-22. But it isn't cringe. I just am what I am. The weight thing isn't actually 100% true there are people who have thyroid issues or hormone issues that have difficulty losing or gaining weights so it's not always the person's eating habits
Yeah, and as a person on hormonal treatment I can agree. But you can’t gain weight because of the treatment. You gain weight because you have a stronger appetite caused by the said treatment. In the end of the day it always comes down to how much you eat, honey. It’s more difficult to loose weight when you want to eat more and more, and I get it. But we loose weight. People on hormonal treatment, people with pcos. It’s not impossible. So… basically I want to eat more, but I suppress my huge appetite and it has become easier to do. I lost 5 kgs in 2 months (i weigh 70 kgs now) and yeah, I’ve got serious cravings but I try not to respond to them and eat nutritioous high protein foods. (Also fats and carbs). And I exercise a lot. And I have MS (autoimmune disease) So, don’t tell it’s impossible.
I had to take corticosteroids for my allergy. They unlocked my appetite like nobody's business. I gained around 35 kg because of them. I became around 137 kg. while being 187 cm tall. Once my legs started to hurt, I said "F this. I'm losing weight". And if I, who is lazy beyond the normal levels of laziness, can get off my ass and start losing weight, anyone can. Being fat is not cool, it's dangerous for your body and increases the risks for your health. Also, I'll use this opportunity to brag that I lost 14 kg. in 6 months. Baby steps from when I want to be (92-3 kg) but it's better than nothing.
I love the way they/we (I'm supposedly one of them) call it a 'Community' - as they/we rabidly look for more and more ways to differentiate ourselves from the rest of society on an ongoing basis.
I had a friend who was "a healthy weight," that is to say, had the proper BMI for her height, age, and all that. However, she was by no means healthy. She needed an organ transplant. When she got her organ transplant, her doctors put her on a medication that would allow her body to accept the new organ. She gained thirty pounds in thirty days, despite not changing anything about her diet/exercise routine that had formerly kept her at the "healthy" weight. I put "healthy" in quotes, because she had ridiculously bad health, and her size was no indicator of her true status. Once she got her transplant, she ballooned, and eventually topped out at 100 pounds over her "healthy" weight. But she was, at that point, the healthiest she'd ever been. Do some people eat themselves into fat bodies? Yes, some do. Maybe even most. However, SOME people have glandular disorders, that make them fat no matter what they do. Some people have medications that make them fat no matter what they do. Some people started out with a diet to lose 5 pounds, lost it, and regained 8. Then, they dieted to lose 8 pounds, lost it, and regained 10. They repeated the cycle over and over and over again, and literally dieted themselves into obesity. It IS a thing. I'm just saying, please don't make generalizations about people's bodies. People are individuals and have their own stories. You might be right about that particular individual, but you might be dead wrong. When it comes to other people's bodies, it's best to observe the old mantra, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Because unless you are invited into that individual's personal health situation, it's simply not your business. To be fair, with full disclosure, I am a fat person. I could give you my whole story, but that's not anyone's business, except for the people I invite into my life. Just know that for 30 years, I tried dieting, and all that happened was that I got fatter than before, and suicidal. I stopped dieting, and stopped wanting to end my life. It may not be physically healthy to be fat, but mental health is an issue, as well. I'll choose fat and alive, for myself.

I find the insistence on using the correct pronounce very similar to the demands by *the aristocracy of the Middle Ages* to be addressed by *_the right noble title_* . I actually got called racist and transphobic by a discord moderator when I voiced my feelings. I work for an extremely reputable company making over 100k, with an additional military retirement under me. I don't get why these groups feel the need to justify it with these mental gymnastics when they have legitimate facts to support right to abortion, like the cases where the pregnancy would just kill both the baby and the mother.

The weight thing isn't actually 100% true there are people who have thyroid issues or hormone issues that have difficulty losing or gaining weights so it's not always the person's eating habits

Yeah, and as a person on hormonal treatment I can agree. But you can’t gain weight because of the treatment. You gain weight because you have a stronger appetite caused by the said treatment. In the end of the day it always comes down to how much you eat, honey. It’s more difficult to loose weight when you want to eat more and more, and I get it. But we loose weight. People on hormonal treatment, people with pcos. It’s not impossible. So… basically I want to eat more, but I suppress my huge appetite and it has become easier to do. I lost 5 kgs in 2 months (i weigh 70 kgs now) and yeah, I’ve got serious cravings but I try not to respond to them and eat nutritioous high protein foods. (Also fats and carbs). And I exercise a lot. And I have MS (autoimmune disease) So, don’t tell it’s impossible.
99% of cases is overeating and laziness.
I had to take corticosteroids for my allergy. They unlocked my appetite like nobody's business. I gained around 35 kg because of them. I became around 137 kg. while being 187 cm tall.
Once my legs started to hurt, I said "F this. I'm losing weight". And if I, who is lazy beyond the normal levels of laziness, can get off my ass and start losing weight, anyone can. Being fat is not cool, it's dangerous for your body and increases the risks for your health.
Also, I'll use this opportunity to brag that I lost 14 kg. in 6 months. Baby steps from when I want to be (92-3 kg) but it's better than nothing.

I love the way they/we (I'm supposedly one of them) call it a 'Community' - as they/we rabidly look for more and more ways to differentiate ourselves from the rest of society on an ongoing basis.
I had a friend who was "a healthy weight," that is to say, had the proper BMI for her height, age, and all that.
However, she was by no means healthy. She needed an organ transplant.
When she got her organ transplant, her doctors put her on a medication that would allow her body to accept the new organ.
She gained thirty pounds in thirty days, despite not changing anything about her diet/exercise routine that had formerly kept her at the "healthy" weight.
I put "healthy" in quotes, because she had ridiculously bad health, and her size was no indicator of her true status.
Once she got her transplant, she ballooned, and eventually topped out at 100 pounds over her "healthy" weight. But she was, at that point, the healthiest she'd ever been.
Do some people eat themselves into fat bodies? Yes, some do. Maybe even most. However, SOME people have glandular disorders, that make them fat no matter what they do. Some people have medications that make them fat no matter what they do. Some people started out with a diet to lose 5 pounds, lost it, and regained 8. Then, they dieted to lose 8 pounds, lost it, and regained 10. They repeated the cycle over and over and over again, and literally dieted themselves into obesity. It IS a thing.
I'm just saying, please don't make generalizations about people's bodies. People are individuals and have their own stories. You might be right about that particular individual, but you might be dead wrong.
When it comes to other people's bodies, it's best to observe the old mantra, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Because unless you are invited into that individual's personal health situation, it's simply not your business.
To be fair, with full disclosure, I am a fat person. I could give you my whole story, but that's not anyone's business, except for the people I invite into my life. Just know that for 30 years, I tried dieting, and all that happened was that I got fatter than before, and suicidal. I stopped dieting, and stopped wanting to end my life.
It may not be physically healthy to be fat, but mental health is an issue, as well. I'll choose fat and alive, for myself.
