I've never seen an ArcSys character with simple commands, it reminded me of Soul Calibur's command moves, Very late but I'm planning to get this in the future. Tried GGXrd but it's too complex, fun but too much work needed. Thanks for this video! I'm a sucker spear and polearm users, and Vanguard's gameplay is so badass :)
So wildly enough every one after the first 2 were held and I also was like "wtf is the difference?" I didn't have any footage of it so I couldnt include, but I think while it doesnt happen in neutral, it allows one to have a delay if canceling into it doing the special cancels that come after. Prob to allow for some combos or something. It's on my notepad as one of the first things to check out come next beta. Which im already so hungry for lol
@@wavycricket5717 He’s for me the character that grew on me the most. From trailer I was like “eh seems cool” but after playing he’s in my personal discussion for who I’d main. Very fun character
@@NuggyJones Could also be for trickier pressure? If they're pressing buttons during your strings. I don't see why they would though, because unless i'm missing something, none of his specials hit low so unless you're about to get guard broken seems much safer to just block high until he finishes.

Curious, what are the property changes on the hold neutral S?
