I need to stop watching your vlogs because I keep adding new places in my bucket list lol 😆😆 But thanks for sharing these, gives ideas about new places. Nice video of Myrtle Beach, so pretty. 😵🥺👌Thanks a lot.
I have glad you cover older parts of MB and I love how they still look retro. I have not been to MB in many years. I really enjoy seeing it on your videos.
Just want to thank you for the help. We made it down here on Saturday. It is absolutely beautiful here. Your videos really helped us find all the places we want to go to.
great block tour of the best of the boardwalk and ocean blvd. always great to see this all. i got about 58 years of memories stored up of this area. its changed some and then is still the same if you know what i mean. this area should be preserved as too much has been destroyed and not replaced. thank you carmen for your expert great comments . Larry
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes I do love the retained retro places like the gay dolphin, fun plaza, and peaches corner.
Greetings,
As always another fantastic detailed video 🇺🇸🍾🎉🇺🇸
Thank you so much for all these videos, very very informative.
Thank you! About 4 months ago we purchased our property that is 0.7 miles from the boardwalk and we’re still learning the area.
Love these videos.
I had a blast there last week. Its my very first time but 2nd time seeing the Atlantic ocean in person. I hardly seen anyone in the water tho.
Glad you enjoyed it! The water is now a bit chilly for swimming unless you have a super hearty constitution!
I was just thinking when you were talkin about peaches corner, I never have been inside there, if I ever go to Myrtle beach again I need to try it out
Some of our regular viewers said they have tasty hot dogs. I love the old retro painted signs on the building. Like the smiling catfish inside the sandwich haha.
Thanks for the block tour. I just booked my husband & I our condo at ocean forest arriving tomorrow. It’s for our 24th wedding anniversary 💞 & im hoping I made the right pick of condo and praying we get beautiful weather this week🙏🏻. We were heading to Cape May, NJ but I didn’t book due to storms. I’ve always wanted to try Myrtle Beach but I live in Gettusburg, Pa but my hometown area is Ocean City, Md…but I’d love to bring our 6 kiddos to a new beach to visit in spring so this is a great chance to check out MB. 🏖️. If you or anyone has any “Romantic” spots we should check out let me know;). Anywhere I’m with my love is romantic to me❤ but if you know of some don’t miss places I’ll add it to our list. We love bike riding, so bringing our Mtn bikes, my husband found a really neat Mtn bike trail that has jumps & is single track (umm that’ll be me watching him 😂). I’m more of a flat biking trail person with some easier hills.
See y’all in MB! We tried to stay on boardwalk but couldn’t find anything we liked…so staying I think near 76th.? I hope it’s nice.
76th is a nice area! Congratulations and Happy Anniversary! We hope you have a great trip! I'd recommend Sea Captain's House for a romantic dinner. They have beautiful outdoor seating if the weather is nice and it's ocean front.
@@CarmenandBrian Aww Thank you so much for the dinner idea:). We will check it out. Yay glad to hear we picked a nice area:). All the reviews said that parking is horrible at the condo along with MB charges an arm & a leg lol. Is there a time that the boardwalk “closes”? I think we can check into room tomorrow at 4 but it’ll probably be 7-8 by time I clean the room & unload. I wonder if I’m the only one that wipes things down, inspects everything before we even bring items up?! 😂. Been doing that ever since I got first got married 24 years ago. Haha
Thanks so much for the reply:) I just watched your biking video from the other day. That was great!
Officially I don't think there's a "closing" time on the boardwalk but I'm sure stores start closing at some point. Usually hours vary depending on the time of the year. Nope, I do it too and have been doing it for many years also! :)
@@CarmenandBrian We are here & finally enjoying some relaxation on the beach :) suns out! Lol glad I’m not the only one that pre cleans. Speaking of which…we showed up to a huge disappointment roaches running EveryWhere😭😭😭. I couldn’t help but cry that first 1/2 hour🤦🏻♀️. Bless my sweet husband while we stood in parking lot while he tried to cancel our room & text pictures to air b n b…which they did great! But we had to find another condo & the one we found looked great in pictures but was not as expected. Smelled like weed all through building & had freezing cold showers first few nights & hopefully tonight it’ll be fixed.
We are having fun even with all this drama but it for sure tainted our MB experience!
Ugh what an awful start! Hope your trip only gets better from here!
Thanks for the walk-a-bout Carmin. We're heading down to Surfside tomorrow. BTW, I'm older now, and for a step back in time we always enjoy browsing through the Gay Dolphin. I do believe they are still selling some of the nik-nacks they were selling when I was a teenager. LOL
Yes they definitely do have stuff that was there when I was a kid. We have a video tour of it and we found bicycle license plates with our name and Myrtle Beach on them and I had one of those as a kid!
I'd like to see some of the giant waves produced by the storm. Personally afraid of waves over 6 feet
We posted video this morning on instagram from the beach - you can check it out there @carmenandbrian. There are no waves. Wind is blowing out to sea.
@@CarmenandBrian I don't do Instagram or Facebook. But thanks anyway
I’ve been watching your videos for awhile now and I have to say they are all the same. You just keep repeating the same thing over and over.
@@CarmenandBrian Here’s an idea
How about you try some restaurants or go up to St.Nicknacks. Go to River City Cafe and please stop showing the Hangout. The food is average at best but it’s not a fun place to go. Most people don’t enjoy watching other jump on the tables and it’s way too loud in there.
