During the break down you'll notice for many of the wide shots there is Paul who sits upon a large red chair. If we look a bit closer, we can see that the head rest of this chair is also red like the Norsefire party colors, and Paul's head is placed in the middle much like the chancellor when he's on screen. Every shot with Paul is done the exact same way throughout this breakdown as well and that's to symbolize our freedom to remain in place not to be swayed in either direction. This is one of the themes of the film and if we look even closer at that red head rest behind Paul's head we can see that each side connects together towards the center to shape and resemble a large letter " V " *RREEAAACCHH!* Well, that's it for this weeks Paul breakdown. Also gave V an excuse to torture and brainwash Natalie Portman's character. Other than the innocence of Evey and the persecution of the lesbian actress lady...every single person has been lying their entire lives, living with guilt, or lying because...well, why not, everyone else is lying. Don't get it twisted, the moral of V or Vendetta is I get to lie, kill, and steal....because they are lieing, killing, and stealing. It's a well made movie and brilliantly evil Hollywood propaganda.

5:27 the symbol on Hitler's nazi flag is not a 'Swastika' but a 'Hakenkreuz'. The 'Swastika' is flat and it is often in orange or red colors which represents vibrancy whereas the Nazi 'Hakenkreuz' or 'The Hooked Cross' is tilted and is always depicted in the black color. Swastika is a symbol used predominantly in Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism respectively. it symbolises good luck/fortune and prosperity. All the mentions of 'Swastika' in the Vedas are related to good luck and auspiciousness. Whereas Hakenkreuz is the insignia used by the Nazis as an emblem for the aryan race, and it stands for hooked cross. Infact Hitler never even used the word 'Swastika'.
