What a great day for a shout out as I love wildflowers! I know what I’ll be doing this afternoon. Was looking at my wildflower books last week and was trying to think what to make with them, now I know! The construction doesn’t bother me, I’m just so happy for you to get it done. These are so cute. I love folding tip because I struggle to get the folds even.
The construction noise is not as loud for us as it is for you and it’s great that you’re able to get it done in such timely way.
Gayle, I feel for you and your arm! Last summer on the next to the last day of our trip to Phnom Phen, Cambodia, I slipped on a marble floor that 10 minutes earlier had not been wet! As soon as my barefoot heel touched the wetness, I went down. My right arm, but I did not want to disrupt the household where we were staying. I asked my grandson and travel friend not to say anything. No one saw me go down, just the very young maid,helped me up.. With the language difference I did not want her getting in trouble for doing her job. The flight left the next night at midnight going to Seoul for a change of planes. I got some sticky wrapping tape to cover my arm for the rest of the trip. Two days later after arriving in LA and riding to Monterey with my companions, I got checked at a local clinic. Yes it was broken. It took 6 wees of being in a cast and several sessions of physical therapy to get it back to normal! Thank goodness I can still heal at 73. Oh, Hugs from Texas.

Love this idea... I can mass make the folding using 32-lb paper and, then, finish the lining and decorating with scrapbooking/digital papers that match the journal/album I would be making at the time. I love picking up junk journal ideas and adapting to my kind of journals/albums! Fun!❤

Cute little books. I’m going to grab my flower book and make a few. Love the variation. You could have put a glue dot on the corner of the flap and then a tag on the side and tuck another in the bottom of the flap. Don’t mind the hammering and construction sounds. Reminds me when Jeff and the boys would be building outside. It’s comforting to me. So pound away ! I’m just glad for you and that they are giving you priority 😊❤️

Good Morning from hot & humid Georgia! These page booklets are so neat. And you’re right, several variations will be just as cute. I watch Julie quite often. She is a riot 😂. She has some different ideas & I love all the funny noises she makes as she crafts (weeee! Oooo!). She reminds me of Rachel in that she often says I’m doing it like this because I can. It’s my video & if you find it boring or don’t like it, fast forward or watch something else. 😆.
I don’t think that’s rude. Just maybe not as sensitive as we are use to. Her & Rachel are quite funny especially with their accent that I love so much.

Thank you so much for this video. I have a large watercolor floral book that this is perfect for this project. It has been so hot in Phoenix. It never gets below 87 degrees at night. We haven’t had rain since March!!!

Hi Gayle, I just checked out the prices for the three books you are using today. They run $65.00 - $90.00. You must’ve found a good deal on them. I will keep looking. The projects are beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration. Jean
I was making some of these today. You stated at one point you hated covering up that beautiful image inside. I figured out a way to not cover the beautiful florals on the inside.
Split the book page in half down the fold. With the text side facing up on both pages, line the 2 pages back together. Floral sides facing down and text sides facing up. Then tape them back together with some washi tape on the text side of the pages. You never will see the washi tape because that is folded in. Follow folding as normal. You will end up with the florals on all visible areas except the small area between the inside pockets will have a thin line of text separating those 2 pockets on each side.

Love these pockets, i was thinking, the pages from the long book, you could try just using half of it. It would make a smaller pocket but you wouldn't have such a hard choice of which image to use. Yes,thats always my problem 😂 ❤xx

What a perfect idea for all those pages just waiting to be used. I agree that it is great that you post at night because it's something wonderful to look forward to at the end of the day. No worries about the construction noises. I'm pretty sure that kids born on the day you first saw your contractor are graduating from elementary school now. We are all happy hearing sounds that prove the end is near. Can't wait for the big reveal video of your finished deck. Your patience is amazing.

I gave up my interest in journaling and scrapbooking in 2020, but started rewatching a lot of your videos and drug out all my crafts the other day and organized them. Just found your Etsy store!
