- The Government of India has banned Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and its leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu under UAPA. Banned since 2019, SFJ is suspected of being involved in the April 2022 Model Jail Tiffin Bomb blast. Pannu is accused of inciting Punjab gangsters and youth for 'Khalistan' through social media.
