Super video, I have transited the Straits of Gib many times when I served in the Royal Navy many years ago. I also spent 2.5 years stationed in Gib back in the 80`s. This brought back so many good memories. Thankyou

Well buddy life on ship is initially tough and gets challenging as you rise in your rank .Well the responsibility increases as you grow up to captain or Chief engineer. You must have heard the saying a smooth sea never made a good sailor.Life is different compared to shore job and keeps you away from family.If you have the determination you will rise to senior ranks in 8-10 years and shall remain sailing untill your family encourages.Batchelor life as a sailor is the most fun part. If your looking for a job at sea think of it 100 times as it keeps you away from the people you love for some long duration but you have enough holidays to cope up with the loss.I would encourage you to join and know all the process and be quick,smart in knowing the process l,fees,waiting to join ships and then take a decision.

If it's the same collage pls join IIT no doubts you will have a more options in life and if you want you come to offshore vessels as engineer in future and have expertise, experience of living for 1.5 months at sea .Offshore life can be chosen after you engineering
@@volto1857 Better join IIT any Branch it really does not matter much in your career after you finish your collage you can still work as a software engineer .Ally friends are in IT industry who are from various streams.Go for IIT ,Well NIT are good too but they are yet to come up to the level of IIT placements
