    Great video, thanks. Seems like my local area is almost completely blank so I'll be mapping quite a bit when I can.

    Great video, why is it on some masts a black line travels out hundreds of miles across the country?

    Appreciate this video was a long long time ago but just trying to use cellmapper and all of the towers around me when clicked on have their projection facing away from me. That is all bar one which does seem to project over my location. Thus I assumed this would be the transmitter that was connected but it wasnt. Do I need to realign my aerial to point towards that transmitter or could there be another reason why I am connecting to a different tower than the software suggests?

    When i have it on and my location is not changing it will mark that location to have 2,3 towers even if i have uploaded nearby data it still won't change theier location.

    I like this app i use it from time to time out of Curiosity. What would the map show if a cycbercrimminal was running a fake base station and we know where our legit towers are ?

    Will this app only map the mast for the network I'm using on the phone or is this how it works ?

      Yes it will map the network your SIM is connected to and the bands on your phone that support those radio waves.

    Cellmapper tells me I am on the edge of the region covered by 2 towers. I want to know what percent of the time I am on each of these 2 towers. Can cellmapper tell me that?

    Do you have an idea how many Bast Transceiver Stations there are world-wide =- Rough estimate would be great?

      Cellmapper does not available iOS because Apple does not provide Cell ID API.

    Hi Peter I have found a website that shows where masts are. www.mastdata.com.

    • @scivids1999
      @scivids1999  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That website does not show what frequencies a mast is broadcasting, where its sectors serve or which site you are using at each moment, however.
