Ironheart (Riri Williams) is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created in 2015 by writers Brian Michael Bendis, and artist Mike Deodato, and later redesigned by Eve Ewing and Kevin Libranda. Dominique Thorne is set to portray Williams in the Marvel Cinematic Universe streaming television series Ironheart, which is currently in development for Disney+.
Riri Williams is a 15-year-old engineering student and the daughter of the late Riri Williams Sr. Following her father's death, Riri lives with her mother Ronnie and her paternal aunt Sharon in Chicago. A certified super-genius, she attends the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on scholarship. Working alone, Riri designs a suit of armor similar to the Iron Man Armor using material stolen from campus. When campus security knocks at her door, she flees while wearing the suit. When Williams prevents two inmates from escaping the New Mexico State Penitentiary, her suit is damaged. Upon returning to her mother's house, Riri continues to work on improving the suit, much to the dismay of her aunt. Tony Stark hears of Riri's accomplishment and goes to meet her. During their meeting, Stark decides that he will endorse her decision to become a superheroine.

No matter what marvel studios does, Robert Downey Jr. Is one of those actors who the audience will always see as the face of Iron Man. He is amazing. Like shwarzenneger is the face of the terminator, Stallone as the face of Rocky or Harrison Ford as the face of Indiana Jones.

The problem is though at the end of end game thanos snapped with the soul stone while strange had the time stone, thanos snapped with the soul stone making it impossible to use the time stone to go back so if marvel gets that sorted out I would love to have iron man back

The problem with that idea is that they precluded going back and depending how they "undo" his death, the story may not be great. RDJ will always be great, but he's still somewhat at the mercy of his writers.

Personally if you want to bring him back would be easy since you've already made pepper indestructible in a previous iron man . Easy for Tony to perfect the tech and become indestructible too. Simple plot and would fit in well
If Disney wasn't hopelessly woke, they could do lots to fix this. When Tony removed the extremis from Pepper's body, he didn't actually remove it. He simply caused it to go dormant. Meanwhile he injected himself with "dormant" extremis, just in case.
Pepper knew what he did and reanimates him.
Another option is the Secret Wars. The Beyonder brings Tony back to life to fight in the Secret Wars. Afterward, he returns Tony to Earth. Time and space don't matter to the Beyonder, so he returns Tony before the Secret Wars starts. Takes Tony a minute to figure out the time skip but then he anderstands he's in a world where everyone thinks he's dead.
And maybe legally, it's best if he stays dead. So he's running around in some new armor, pretending not to be Tony.
The Multiverse is already well established in the MCU. The new version of Loki could pull Tony out of thin air, no problem.
While we're at it, Loki could join him. Imagine a Loki/Iron Man team up. Wow.
Loki is currently sitting on his Multiverse/World Tree throne at the TVA. But what if he left? The timelines would all explode, of course.
But what if he considered leaving. Then at a higher dimensional level, there's a branch. You have the Loki who remains on his throne, and the Loki who walked away in search of some fun. This is the whole premise of the TVA so why can't it work for Loki?
Loki respects Tony Stark, and brings him back from the dead, from another timeline, whatever. Then makes him watch the TVA recordings to see how he died.
Now inform Tony about some big threat to Earth and nobody around can save them. Tony suits up. And maybe somewhere along the line Loki throws Tony at the bad guys in a "get help" maneuver.
Good times.
Just imagine they bring back RDJ and instead of the beloved IRONMAN, he comes from an alternate reality where is is evil personified, now one of the biggest threats to humanity

RDJ never actually wanted to leave and originally Endgame had a different ending where Captain America snapped supposedly but because of issues behind pay and stuff they opted for killing off Tony. (Supposedly, idk if thats actually true) He has since said he would be happy to return to the MCU
