No quick release on the front axle because its a "through-bolt" design. Quick release axles allow tool-free removal of the front wheel, but are less rigid. They allow the bike to be broken down for transport, etc. The A7 Pro isn't designed with easy transport in mind, so they went with the through-bolt for greater rigidity. Overall, the A7 employs mountain bike components most everywhere (motor + mid-drive / drive components / brakes / fork / rear suspension / handle bars) but is built and optimized for city commuter type riding. Its truly the SUV of ebikes! I love it and just ordered mine yesterday. Thanks for your video.

You’re very welcome!
Yeah, I agree with your statement about the quick release. It’s a fantastic bike either way.
Mid-drive..cool...torque sensor is nice.
Definitely some cool tech on this thing.
Nice review
Thank you!
Great job!
Thanks Bruce!
Nice review! Is there clearance to be able to fit a 2.8 or 3" wide mixed use tire on this so it could be used for mild trails or fire roads?
Thank you! I think you should be able to get away with that!
Leider funktioniert der Code mit dem Link nicht. Lieber Gruss Ronald
I will check into that for you.
The code is working now.
They need to have a belt-drive version of it.
Why?
@@easyheimer Because then I'd buy it.
@@easyheimer No derailleur and no chain and less maintenance.
Make sense. Just was curious. I’ll pass the info along.
💯
Looks like a seat dropper post
Is that what they’re called?
@@easyheimer ...yes....for mountain biking
Haha. You can tell I don’t bike!
No quick release is good!
You think so?
